If you finger a girl who has herpes but no soars and then wipe your hands then touch your penis is it possible to catch herpes?

Or what if you rub your penis on her panties, is it possible to catch herpes?

Is there herpes in like vaginal fluids also?

This just happend this morning anf I’m ashamed to talk to anyone about it. Although I did’nt penetrate her, it was I actually took off my jeans and started rubbing my crotch on hers and after I had been fingering her for atleast a day she actually told me. I immediate ran to the bathroom and washed my hands and penis off.

I feel so horrible, I’m a virgin and managed to put myself in this situation after refraining from sex just because of these very same reasons. She said she was not having an outbreak but I don’t know if I trust she’s telling the truth.

I’m so ashamed and I just want to crawl into a hole. I’ve already started to see a red bump on the underside of my penis head which may or may not be herpes related. On the right side of my penis feels weird as does the urethra. I dunno if I feel it because I’m worried or a scractched myself or if it was because I soaked my penis is alchohol .

It’s probably the alcohol and your imagination, so stop taking any extra action now and go back to your regular routine. Just monitor yourself for any signs of infection. If you have a doctor you can talk to, go ahead and do that and ask what he recommends for any follow-up action.

That is horrible, what kinda person fools around with you and doesn’t tell you they have herpes? It’s not like you can ask a women if she has herpes or not. I feel for you, and hope you didn’t contract it.

I’m with gprent. Sounds like you rubbed yourself raw with both the alcohol and the worry. If she wasn’t actually having an outbreak and you didn’t actually penetrate her or do oral/genital, the odds of infection are very slim. Still, keep an eye it or better yet see your doc. And stay away from the bitch.

Thats what pisses me off the most! I asked her when was her last checkup and she made it seem as though everything is fine. At the last minute after we were still fooling around I asked her if she had any STDs and she said yeah, herpes. I could’nt belive it. I don’t have sex for this very same reason!!

I’m scared as hell, man. I can’t believe this. If I can get through this I vow never to touch another girl again! Seriously, sex is’nt that great, atleast to me, to have to live with something like this for the rest of my life.

As long as she has no outbreak, it is very slim that you will become infected. If it makes you feel better, 80% of the adult population has some form of herpes, either simplex 1 or 2. I have herpes 1, aka cold sores and have never infected my wife from kissing or oral in 18 yrs.

I’ve had two herpes scares in my life.

The first one was a rash I developed after I lost my virginity to a girl who actually told me she had herpes prior to sexual contact. She swore up and down that it was not communicable unless she was exhibiting obvious symptoms (lesions, open sores, etc.) Turned out, after a doctor looked at it, that it was just a bunch of pimples. She was wrong, by the way. There are certain symptoms that are benign in nature (urinary tract infection and yeast infection) that can be the herpes virus acting up.

The second scare happened a couple of weeks ago. One of my exes called me and gave me the dreaded “I’ve got herpes and I’m not sure if it was before or after you.” calls. I went in for a blood test and it was negative.

My only advice (actually two) is to go to your doctor *NOW* if you’ve got something on your dick that they can look at and take a culture of. If this heals, they won’t be able to take a culture and you’ll *always* be paranoid if you have it.

My other piece of advice is don’t panic. There’s a lot of people who have herpes and don’t know it. It’s a lot more common than you think.

Oh, and one last thing… the herpes virus is a wimpy virus that only attaches itself to the most ideal of environments, namely mucous membranes. If you never had any contact with her sores with your penis or tongue, you’re probably ok.

Although I could be lying to you so you can calm down enough to go to a doctor.

In the future…don’t go touching the genitals of girls you dont know well enough to know if she has STD’s.

I just worried because my lips have become kinda swollen and irritated. I’m not sure if it’s because they are dry and chapped or if it has something to do with this. We’ll just have to wait and see.
