I need different lube!

I’ve been using Astroglide for lube when I beat, and jelq. It’s a really great product, however, I do not like the whole skin moisturizing thing it does. I like to be able to feel my junk, and don’t want my foreskin soft. Isn’t there anything else to use? I’ve tried Vaseline and it takes too much, and is very messy. I used to use lotion until they stopped selling the kind I would buy.

I’d suggest grape seed oil, or something else oil-based. I hate the water-based lubes because I PE with a lot of heat, and they just dry up. I know you can use some water to refresh, but with some of the water-based ones, especially astroglide, they get dry so quickly and frequently that it pisses me off. So yeah, oil-based is nice, because one application and you’re good for a while.

Olive oil is the only thing I use. What you pay for a bottle of Astroglide will get you good EVOO and will last a long, long time. Clean up is very easy.

I use Biotone Advanced Therapy Massage Gel. I add my own mix of essential oils to it. It’s great stuff.

Sounds to me like you want something slicker than Vaseline but not sticky like the majority of the glycerine based gels. When I went to the sex shop a few weeks ago I was looking for one I could jelq with in the shower and I did find a few good brands to try out. It all depends on what you need your lube to do, sex, condom and toy use, anal sex, masturbation. Many of the sex approved gels (ph balanced) are glycerine based with the consistency of spit. If your purpose I’d for jelqing and sex toy use without a clean up in between a thicker glycerine base is recommended which come in a variety of consistencies from spit to hair gel. The anal sex lubes, which is what I prefer for pumping, are either silicone/glycol based or glycerine based and come in thicker consistencies to what would closely resemble vasceline. Finally, many of the masturbation “creams” come in constiencies of all the above but most often not approved for use with condoms.

If you want my suggestion, go to a local sex shop and purchase some of the free samples such as WET or platinum WET, a silicone based lube or two, and give your self a review. A few I have used in the pass were I.D glide (the one with the red top), platnum wet, ky warming sensation-sucked!, pure vegetable glycerine-too sticky,vasceline-too messy, lotion for jelqing dried-up too quick.

I personally hate the feeling of the sex jelly as it thickens up on my hands. After 2 years of experimenting I now use Bio-Oil from wallgreens 4.2fl for about $20, however with this stuff I have to be careful about handeling rubber and any open cuts because of the red clover oil. Although, it stays moist long enough to finish my jelqs and doesn’t cause unwanted friction. Not a bad way to go for $5 to $10 a month.

Soap is a bad idea PERIOD. From my experience soap dried out the skin close to my glans and caused more problems with nicks and cuts than any other type of lube, even the moisturizing soaps. When in doubt just go with a natural oil that wont clog pores like coconut oil or or olive oil.

I love the feel of jelqing with hair conditioner. In my opinion, I think it’s the best consistency. I’ve been looking for lube that is of the same consistency but it’s been hard. Any suggestions would be appreciated too.
