Mike: It is the beta blockers. I had the same problem with them. Discuss it with your doctor and ask if there is another medication you can use. I did and we found something that works. I hate the side effects of beta blockers. MXL

I think you’re probably too constricted down there, i.e., squeezing too hard in an attempt to come. You’ve got your prostate in a vice grip :-) In which case, you need to learn to relax those muscles and let your body’s automatic pumping reflex take over. Try to consciously focus on that area (lower abdomen) when you’re alone and see if you can feel it ‘open up’ (inside). Also, see if you can translate your masturbation technique into an intercourse technique. I.e., find a position, angle and rythm that stimulates you inside her the same way (actually, better!) than you do with your hand. I’ve slowly discovered those factors for myself, and also, happily, for my partner, so that she comes vaginally.

Sounds like it’s the beater blockers then. Although it’s also quite common for men who masturbate very regularly with the same technique to suffer from delayed orgasm. If it’s this then lay off the maturbation for a couple of weeks then have sex, you’ll cum much quicker.
