Maybe it could be from trapped piss? I think certain foods can give off strong odors in the urine. Asparagus comes to mind right now. There are probably others. Something to explore maybe?

17ml, if its indeed caused by over active sebaceous glands, you could try benzoyl peroxide. Its used for acne control and they sell it in soap bar form that you can wash yourself with it. It degreases the skin pores and kills bacteria. I use it every day for my back acne and its completely gone now. Careful tho, it can dry the skin. If its caused by greasy skin and bacteria, this should help.

That was my thought as well. If a small amount of bacteria have taken up residence in your hanger then you will reinfect your junk every time you hang.

Would benzoyl peroxide help sebaceous prominence. I would assume it can’t exactly get rid of it but possibly it would help or completely avoid more from happening. Used in conjunction with something to get rid of it, they would no longer be a problem?

I guess your talking about Fordyce spots? I’ve read somewhere (sorry, don’t remember where) that it could be use to lessen the spots but there are better treatments for that that could go deeper in the skin. I bought a soap bar of Benzoyle Peroxyde for less than 20$ and it lasts me 2 months easy. You could try it since its pretty cheap for a treatment and if it doesn’t help, well, you can use it at other places if you have some form of acne. Careful tho, it can dry the skin but it did magic for my back acne.

I have back acne, not too bad but bad enough I’ve been taking tetralysal 300 for a year plus now. The tablets do nothing except stop the itchiness. Thank you very much I will try to get my hands on that soap! Again thanks!

Since using PE devices (which are ALSO kept nice and clean) I have notice an increase in odor. Not the pungent I need a shower smell or the ripe tuckbox smell that some folk struggle with. It’s a “penis” smell.

Not sure why, but maybe because the skin is so “active” because of tension or maybe just because it’s covered by the device and less exposed to air. So..

Never clean your unit with strange cremes and stuff other than soap because it disrupts the natural bacterial balance. I would also think that there’s some bacteria in the hanger that gets activated by the moisture. Try cleaning your hanger with an antiseptic.
