How Do I Get Circumcised And Have Insurance Pay For It ?

How Do I Get Circumcised And Have Insurance Pay For It ?

I am like in between cut and uncut. It’s strange. I get a horrible donut even at low hg and short set time. I go like 2-3hg for 15 to 20 minutes for 2 sets. I have always wanted to get snipped all the way but now I need to more than ever. What should I do ? I don’t have the money but I’m getting insurance very soon. Any suggestions on how to convince a doctor it’s medically necessary ?

Just go out and get frostbite on your foreskin. They’ll have to hack it off when you get gangrene.

Or maybe expand your skin tube so it covers the glans well.

Anybody have a more serious response. Thanks for the advice, but getting frostbite doesn’t seem like the right direction. I don’t want to make my foreskin longer either. That just makes the situation worse. I want to get rid of it, even though I understand your logic.

You’d have to first find a urologist who would be inclined to sign off on stating that you have a medical condition that affects your life and must be corrected. Using testosterone treatments as an example, if you go to a mainstream doctor and say you’ve got low T and “May I please get treated?” he’ll laugh at you. But if you go to one of these men’s sexual health clinics (not a urologist at a hospital), he’ll most assuredly sign off.

Really before any of that, you’ll need to examine your insurance to see if they even cover this procedure.

Thanks Don. Would you have any examples of the possible medical problems that would make this a must for a Dr ?

A couple things are balanitis and balanoposthitis, which are inflammation of the glans and foreskin. Another angle to take might be psychological: you’ve been in anguish your entire life and being circumcised is the only way to put your mind right, etc., though I’m certain they would first require you to go into therapy before they sign off on the procedure. Or just shell out the $2,500-$3,000.

Shove your extra skin inside your anus

go to the doctor and tell him that this happens often

he gives you the ol’ sniparoo for free

I suppose you can seek the advice of a urologist and have them write you up as your “condition” being detrimental to your physiological health and sexual health (I.e. Erectile dysfunction) and that you need “treatment” via circumcision to resolve your newly diagnosed medical condition. Give that a try.

I’ve read on various forums that you can even get a doctor to get you a prescription for any FDA approved erectile dysfunction devices (I.e. Penis pump) and have your medical insurance pay for it.

Just my 2 cents.

Good luck!

PE'ing since 11/1/13. It's never too late to begin!

Except that it’s NOT medically necessary. There are many men wishing we weren’t cut & trying to restore their foreskins. What the hell is wrong with your ding-dong the way it came out of the box. Don’t buy into the perverse opinions of so many women that think the way you were born is somehow dirty, unclean, or just plain gross. I wish I had never been cut.

Start: April 2012 BPEL 5¼" x EG 4¾"----> July 2012 BPEL 5¾" x EG 4⅞"

First goal: 6"x5"

Long Term Goal: 8"x5¾"

It’s not the appearance. It’s the donut problem while pumping. No matter how long I pump, or how much pressure I use, or what I wrap around the area I still get a donut. And it hurts to have sex when I have the donut.
