High Estrogen levels on Athletic 20 year old... WTF DUDE

But if my Testosterone is on the low end of the range, and my Estrogen is on the high end of the range, than that isn’t okay. I want to be on the best side of the range.

But does anyone have any experience with the 6-OXO, Arimidex, or any other aromatase inhibitor (estrogen blockers)? I just have a feeling that these estrogen blockers would do me well, given a weekly or cycle or something.

Stakool- I actually read that a while back here on Thunders. I pretty much do most of those things suggested.

I’m just interested if my body’s natural estrogen levels are just a little high. What if I only took the aromatase inhibitor every other day or something like that? or cycled 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off?

Check out Primordial Performance. They have some awesome products. I agree your test is very low for your age.

Hardhead, don’t be so offended. What I meant by credentials, was something more like, “I used 6-oxo and my levels…etc.” I am not looking for “I am a PhD from Utrecht University…” So again, don’t be so offended. If you do have any experience with the matter, let me know. Do you? Again, i’m not trying to insult you (look at my previous post) but advice from someone with experience on the matter is valuable, and should be noted. Shouldn’t it?

Mgus, what is the point of that post, really? I thought I was the 20 year old. No offense, but you are kind of messing up my thread. I am saying that with sincerity because you have posted to me many times before with a negative/pessimistic/downer view that really gets things off topic or is kind of insulting. That analogy wasn’t meant to insult you. It was meant to prove the point that, for a matter such as this, experienced individuals would be more helpful giving me advice that noobs. You wouldn’t want a noob to tell another noob how to perform DLD blasters? Or how to clamp? Would you? That is my point. I really don’t want to get in any arguments so if we could just drop this and get back to subject, that would be great.

Sta: I appreciate the test, among other things. I looked at that test, and to be honest, some of those do apply to me. But I understand that its just a test. I am going to see the doc next week. Further blood test will reveal my current state. But should I be on my routine? I’m taking a 2 week break right now so maybe my levels are a bit different, that what they would be while i’m working out/training. What do you think?

Thethickone: Which one do you use? I’m going to have to read through them because I just scanned them. Is this a popular product in bodybuilding world? Have you ever used anything like it?

First of all,Do not worry about your Testosterone levels. Worry=Estrogenic shit!
Secondly,Become an alpha male,be agressive and dominant.

Your Emo thoughts are the same as “estrogen” thoughts. The best defense you have is to change your Inner self and understand that you were born to be an Alpha male!

You can do all the Tests and products you want, the testosterone will come from an Testosterone diet(Check out Ori hefmekler,Anti-estrogenic diet),excercise(Short sessions of HIIT/Compound excercises) and Alpha Male Confidence.

Some will say this is BS,but to h*ll with them, let them live their Estrogenic influenced lives. You are born too be an Alpha male!

You probably know the effect exercise has on your testosterone levels. After your workout it drops dramatically when your body starts repairing itself. When you push yourself too hard your levels never get back to their normal levels. To exclude the hypothesis that you are over training yourself take a week rest (no training at all) and see if that improves the situation.

invictus,

I think you are the one who is messing his own thread.
Read the title of this thread - it seems you are asking if your hormonal levels are in the norm and, if not, what’s the cause. I think you are misunderstanding the whole hormonal issue, also.

It doesn’t exists an “ideal” level of hormones, just “normal” levels. If yours levels are in the norm, raising them will not necessarily be a good thing - your body has his own way to react to any intake from the outside, and once you start playing with your hormonal balance, you can’t be sure what the outcome will be.
That’s what fellows are saying - trying to help you, BTW. You are answering in not a kind way.

Thanks, Happy. Another member helped me to realize that I am probably over training. So I will definitely fix this. I always just thought more, harder, longer, is better.

Marinera- I apologize to all those I offended; I didn’t mean to be unkind, and I appreciate all feed back, actually. Sorry! … But back to the topic, marinera, I do believe there exists an “ideal” level of hormones. High Testosterone, low estrogen, in example. You are telling me Lebron James’ hormone level is not ideal? Compared to a depressed, overweight, man of the same age, for example? I believe there isn’t a normal level, rather, a “normal range.” The key to optimizing your body for best performance is to find the top of that normal range.

If that guy is overweight and depressed due to low test / high estrogen then he probably isn’t in the normal range at all, is he?

Taped onto the dashboard of a car at a junkyard, I once found the following: "Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement." The car was crashed.

Primary goal: To have an EQ above average (i.e. streetsmart, compassionate about life and happy) Secondary goal: to make an anagram of my signature denoting how I feel about my gains

A depressed, overweight man has issue because he is depressed and overweight. You are doing a circular reasoning, presuming that one is better than you just because he has more testosterone/less estrogens - that’s not always true.

Anyway, if you are already convinced that this is the case, ask to a Doc for prescriptions, don’t do auto-medications. Hormone balance is more complicated than you think - even an andrologist has to be cautious on that matter.

Edit: I was beaten by mgus!!

Thats not even the point. And please don’t respond about “how isn’t that the point? You posted about blah blah….etc”. I’m calling you Taliban from now on because you keep trying to Hijack this thread.

Thatcat: i’m not, thats not really related on the topic. But pretty manly of you to bring that up and ask about it in this thread, great place. Think about it. Did you really just ask me to tell you about venous leaks, here, right now, on this thread? I should just change the topic and start posting about that. Not that I really give a fuck, just wanted to let you realize your a Douche bag for that comment.

Obviously a lot of opinions about the subject but not too many people posting have actually tried the 6-oxo, arimidex, or other aromtase inhibitors. So I guess maybe I am normal in the ranges given, just trying to find out if anyone has used any of these products.

I don’t think a 600 test level is low for his age. One thing is if you raise your system test, so will your estrogen raise as the homeostasis mechanisms attempts to maintain a balance.

This is the same reason if you inject testosterone, why you can grow bitch tits. You have high testosterone, but because you didn’t surpress the estrogen it raised also.

Arimidex is the current best estrogen blocker. Some of the “test boosters” have estrogen blockers in them, but I cannot vouch for them.

There are a ton of test discussions on the body building forums.

That’ll be the last time you do that.

This is also not allowed.

Before: I'd like to show you something I'm very proud of, but you'll have to move real close.

After: I\'d like to show you something I\'m very proud of, but you guys in the front row will have to stand back.
