Hemorrhoid/Fissure Treatment Costs

I don’t know if this is the right section for this but here goes :

Does anyone know what the ball-park time and cost is to get a Hemorrhoid/Fissure/Anal Tear surgically fixed? I don’t know which one it is. All I know is that it’s on the inside around the rim and it hurts like hell. When I use the toilet, at best it’s uncomfortable, at worst it’s agony during and for about 10 minutes afterwards. I’ve had it for about 4.5 years now give or take, but it’s gotten much worse in the past 2 years or so and even more in the past 6 months. I have minimum coverage health insurance.

Call your health ins. carrier and ask them to give you an estimate of what the surgery would cost and how much of that they will cover. That will at least give you an idea of what expenses you’ll be facing.

Whatever, do get it fixed. That doesn’t sound like a comfortable way to have to deal with daily life, BossaNova. :)
