I just booked a phone-consult with a well known andrologist here in Norway.

I will talk to him this wednesday.

Hello all,

I just got off the phone with the andrologist.

According to him, my levels are completely fine and there is nothing he could do to help me. At least not for now.

He talked and talked and seemed to have a lot of preconceived notions about me. Asked me if there were people on my gym that used steroids and if I felt inferior to those guys. I had to emphasize that I had no ambitions of becoming a huge bodybuilder and did not have any desire for getting huge.

His conclusion was that I have a lack of women in my life, which I do agree with, and that the solution would be to move to a bigger city with lots of women.

According to him, men turn off their sexual drive/function if they are away from women for a long time. Like priests and people in the army.

I do agree that I need more women in my diet and this is something I have been thinking myself. Still, I`m curious if the reason I don`t have had that much women in the past or a huge apetite for them, is because I have had low levels for a while now. Catch 22.

Still, according to him, my levels are completely normal so I guess I have nothing to worry about.

My gameplan:

- See if I can get a hold of Mucuna Pruriens. No luck so far.
- Supercharge my social life.
- Increase exposure to women and hopefully get laid soon.
- Exposure to sunlight. UV-bed if the weather is bad. Sunny now though.
- Start a fight.
- Continue eating well for a while.
- Sleep well.

Please let me know if you have anything to add.

In a way, I do feel relieved now.

Still, it is somewhat of a mindfuck, because I would not have been here worrying about this had it not been for this friend of mine who said that my levels were borderline low and would qualify for HRT in the USA.

Well I would like to compare us with the rest of the animals. Your mind has an very strong effect upon your whole body (including hormones),examples you could look at are for example testosterone levels in Soccer supporters who just had their team won a great match compared to the loosing team and their supporters.I do not have the articles here right now,but try and google it and you will find some I think.
Testosterone is also linked to agressiveness(Agressiveness=Testosterone), ever wondered why girls fall almost never fall for Mr.Nice whimp? The thing is, I do regard myself an alpha male already and this is something I`ve been working on for the last 5-7 years:)

Not saying that I can`t improve though, but I do already embody many of the traits.

Yesterday I went out to the clubs alone to talk to the girls and see if anyone wanted to pick a fight;)

I talked to a few girls, but it did not lead to nothing. I simply did not have any urge at all to pursue anything. It was one of those days where my sexuality really felt switched off.

It sucked. I had no problem going out alone though and I felt comfortable. If any guys had wanted to pick a fight, I would gladly have welcomed it.

Perhaps I`m self-destructive.

Next week I will try again sober. I know alcohol is not the best in terms of testosterone levels, but I rarely drink.

Hopefully I will get the money to order Mucuna Pruriens tomorrow.

You should not be self-destructive,love yourself and what you stand for!Confidence is also a trait every Alpha male are bound to have.

My quick tidbit was since you described yourself in your .2nd? Post as being relatively poor and not wanting to drive to that doctor, one thing that suppose to help both hearth health and hormones levels are omega fatty acid pills. That’s the first thing that comes to mind for me. I know you live in a different country but in Canada, you can pick up 2 month supply(90 capsules with 3 capsules per day(1 per meal)) for around $12.00 for name brand or $7.00 for a non-name brand. To put that in some perspective that might translate to your country’s financial market, it’s basically 40 minutes work at minimum wage is the cost of a 3 month supply. So I think even if your strapped for cash, you could skip having a coffee/soda for a day or two and afford them.

There’s also another trick involving Estrogen, Testosterone and underwear choices. You’d probably need to Google it to verify but the principle but it is basically that your balls balls plus too much heat equals testosterone converting into estrogen. Your balls and too much cold = Estrogen converting into Testostorne and sperm production is increased. Too much estrogen = .man boobs and a number of other health concerns in a male-body. A little though is perfectly normal. If your ‘shooting-blanks’, it’s a common recommendation to apply to your balls an ice-pack for 30 minutes once or twice a day in 5 minute intervals to help the chance of conceiving. Additionally, they advise changing underwear to certain types that let your balls ‘breathe’ more or to reduce heat throughout the day. IE, Boxers versus Briefs versus .the other types. This too is a good solution cause it doesn’t matter how broke you are, you can try this if your willing to fore go some discomfort. It’s probably easiest to just put an ice pack under your chair while typing at a PC on a forum like say this one for a bit each day :)

Yeah, but I should be able to take a few drinks once in a while without getting limp or what?:)

I`m going out sober next weekend for sure. I will use all week to motivate and rebuild my confidence.

As I said, I`ve been into self-improvement and positive thinking for many years now, but I have discovered that I have gradually without knowing it slipped into a subtle kind of self-loathing and destructive negative self-talk. When it happens this slowly and gradually, it is harder to recognize it compared to a sudden crash.

Now that I have identified it, it should be very easy to turn around. Actually, this day has been fucking amazing! I`ve been psyching myself all day and had no negative self-talk at all. I try to congratulate myself for every small thing. I will soon be able to benchpress the world!:)

What I have realized now, being a high achiever, is that whenever I have made an accomplishment I have used a motivation technique of just shrugging my shoulders and saying, “Nahhh……that was nothing. Everyone could do that. Etc”. The intention for this was to not become satisfied with mediocrity and kind of making extremely good achievments more like the norm for me. Always improving is good, but I think it is very important to have fun on the journey and celebrate every small step. Seeking perfection is a sure way to become depressed I think.

What I should rather have been doing is to praise myself for every accomplishment I do, and learn from the mistakes instead of beating myself up about it.

My dick is still somewhat limp and I feel no significant sexual urge, but to hell with it. I ain`t making myself a victim. I will make the best out of the situation and try to improve.

This is very interesting.

By my personal experience and others I have talked to, testolevels should be the highest in the summer.

Perhaps what is really happening is that libido is increased in the summer time independent of testosterone levels.

I forgot to mention.

It has come to my attention that my high ferritin levels could be a real concern.

What I have been told is that high ferritin levels potentially can push down testosterone.

I will contact my doctor regarding this tomorrow.
