Good Discovery for those on beta blockers

Good Discovery for those on beta blockers

So long story short had an episode of heart palpitations that I’m still investigating under the care of a medical doctor. He prescribe metoprolol, a beta blocker, which stopped the palpitations while we rule out something serious.

Beta blockers beat the shit out of you: weight gain, tiredness and erectile dysfunction. I told my doc about the ED and he laughed it off, saying it will go away after a few weeks, which it largely did, however, things were not good. I took matters into my own hands and found out about Nebivolol, or Bystolic. Bystolic is a 3rd generation beta blocker that also increases nitric oxide! More studies and I found out it can be used to reverse ED caused by diabetes and on and on. I asked my doc about it and he gave me a sample to try instead of metoprolol. Bystolic is the only Beta Blocker that increase nitric oxide.

OMG! The first night I was up every two hours with a raging boner. Metoprolol causes blood flow to the extremities (and your dick) to reduce blood pressure. Bystolic increases Nitric Oxide production which causes blood flow to increase everywhere especially your dick!

Being on Bystolic 5 mg feels like Cialis 5 mg.

This is an amazing discovery. I feel young again with none of the bad sides from metoprolol. Now my EQ is much much better. When I wake up in the morning, it’s a completely different feeling and jelq sessions feel amazing.

Please talk to your doctor about switching up if you have to take a beta blocker. I wouldn’t be surprised if people aren’t working on a modified version that just increases Nitric Oxide without blocking beta receptors. That would be a holy grail supplement/drug.

Please talk to your doctor and do not self medicate.

Is this still working well for you?

I take propranolol and might look into switching!

Yes still amazing. Morning erections by far are outstanding and I feel overall much better
Metoprolol was horrible

I spoke with my doctor and we are switching me to this. Thank you for mentioning it. In addition to what you mentioned, I’m looking forward to the apparent benefits in terms of it not limiting heart rate so much during exercise (or sex).

Are you still using bystolic? If so do you have any side effects? And do you build a tolerance?

Yes, you are correct. Props to you for sharing. Here is a current medical study.

Here is a quote from the recent medical
study:

“ The third-generation β-blocker agent nebivolol that has a high β1-adrenoceptor selectivity leads directly to arterial and venous vasodilatation by NO system activation. Given this feature of nebivolol, in contrast to other β-blocker agents, it may increase NO release and improve erection or may not cause impotence.[7]”

Very interesting. I’ve been on Propranolol ER 60mg for years as a preventative for migraines. Has been effective for the migraines. I know it depresses maximum heart rate, as I train with a heart rate monitor. Pretty much impossible to get HR above about 160 when on it. I had no idea it would impact EQ.

I’m now seriously considering asking my physician to try another beta blocker. Propranolol was pretty cheap, but if I could get one with less side effects it may be worth the expense.
