"Fat" erection VS "thin" erection?

Hello all,

I seem to observe a qualitative difference in my erections which I can only attribute to my hormone problems, since my current routine is very light and EQ should not suffer as a result. I often experience what I assume is a 100% erection, since it feels quite hard and strong, but still it feels thin and not like it at it`s full potential. It feels like something is lacking.

A day earlier this week, I had one of those really fat erections where it just feels like I have a real piece of meat in my hands, although I`m fairly confident that the size can`t be that different, if different at all. It just feels full and “right”.

I think it is strongly related to my libido, since I never have the “fat” erections without being really horny. I will measure next time to see if there actually is a difference in size.

Anyone familiar with this phenomenon?

Have exactly the same issue, no idea why though, probably something to do with the smooth muscle ?

For me this varies a lot as well. My “fat” erections are definitely bigger than my “thin” erections when I’ve measured.

I thought I was the only one experiencing this. My morning wood is always that ‘thin’ HARD erection. During a random day I can get that spontaneous ‘fat’ hard on. I feel much better now seeing that some of you can relate to this.

More relaxed = fat more anxious = thin

Interesting to hear that I`m not alone.

How does one get more “relaxed” tissues then? For me, I suspect it is a function of libido/hormone levels as I`m fairly confident that my light routine could not possibly affect the smooth muscle negatively.

Not just anxious v relaxed, I believe that there is a hormonal relationship— the more I am into a woman the fatter my cock, erect or flaccid.

Also affect cum volume.

Is that something that happens mostly in the morning? In the morning tissues stock a lower amount of water, so tendons and TA are tougher.

Definitely worse first thing in the morning so simple dehydration then !

Funny, I tend to sleep Fowfer and usually wake up with a really plump flaccid.

The dehydration theory is interesting, but I do not think that is the issue in my case. I can only imagine that it is hormonal.

I wonder if low dose cialis ED or EOD could solve the issue.

Yesterday or the day before I had an extremely thin and hard morning wood erection. This morning it is a fat morning wood erection. The thin erection could not be enlarged regardless of how much hand clamping I did that morning. This morning however, it seems to start at or near my maximum girth using the space between my index finger and thumb as a guide.

No idea why this happens. I would like to know also because if one could always attain the fat erection it would most likely help growth.

Exactly the same here. Morning erections are super-hard but I can tell I’m not at full girth. If I get myself hard later in the day - for sex, masturbation or PE - I can edge and sort of manually clamp to an erection that feels much fuller but, oddly enough, often doesn’t feel as hard as that first-thing hard-on.

I guess erection quality is not a one-dimensional thing, since hardness seems to be fairly independent of thickness or ‘fullness’.

It might have seemed ”thin” to you but it almost certainly didn’t to her. 5.6” is well, well above average, and even if your girth was slightly below that, you’d still have been a fair bit above average. Almost certainly thicker than her last partner, at any rate. So don’t worry about it. Maybe do a bit of jelqing or light clamping before you see her next, if you’re still worried about it?
