Erectile Dysfunction (ED) Sites

Erectile Dysfunction (ED) Sites

If you overdo your PE exercises the result may be a couple of days of dicey erections, or none at all. This doesn’t mean you have ED in any permanent sense. You’ve gone overboard; you give your body a rest; function returns.

You have a big date; a new, potential relationship. You are anxious to please, even to be perceived as a sexual athlete. You get to the nitty-gritty and one of two things happens: It goes up and then it deflates, just when you need most to be hard. Or, it doesn’t go up at all - even though it always has before. You couldn’t penetrate a slab of room temperature butter. You don’t even have a "stuffer." What you do have is Performance Anxiety. Fortunately, once you relax and get to know your partner better, this usually goes away pretty quickly.

And, every now and then even the most virile guy has a failure. This happens to everybody, for all sorts of logical reasons. You just let that go and start fresh the next time and everything is as it should be.

But for some of us, and because of many organic and/or psychological reasons, erectile failure becomes the pattern rather than the unusual, isolated event. Sexual erections fail repeatedly, nocturnal erections may stop happening (no more morning wood, or rarely), libido may or may not drop off.

It was once thought that ED was an Older Guy Problem. In our late forties or in our fifties, we’re supposed to expect some slowing down; or prostate problems kick in, or yadda yadda. However, young guys get ED, too. From prescribed medications sometimes, or recreational drugs use, or from complications of diabetes, or vascular issues, or like older men, from hormonal imbalances. ED has many, many causes. However, it also has many, many solutions.

Here are two links of sites that I administrate along with some very informed men and one nifty lady. Some of us are straight, some are gay. All of us have been through the depressing experience of ED and have found very satisfying solutions. We have a huge amount of combined knowledge and many resources. Thunder has given me permission to offer these sites to any of our members who have a continuing problem and need some direction.

Both are free. The first is a Google newsgroup site - open to all and sometimes suseptible to trolls and spam, however it contains over 38,000 threads, all searchable. The second is a moderated membership group - no trolls, no flames, no spam which we moved to very recently when our previous site owner went fee-based. They’re both pretty friendly. Take a look if you believe you might have ED.

You can also post ED concerns here at MSHF. I have some serious background in the subject and we have a couple of doctors on board here at Thunder’s who will chime in, I’m sure.

nice post, looks like groups have good info. Nice to see usenet being used for something productive too, means I can actually make my news reader download stuff other than porn and warez ;)

thx good tip

Avocet8,

So as not to leave out our gay/bi members I would add these two ED sites

Yahoo | Mail, Weather, Search, Politics, News, Finance, Sports & Videos

Yahoo | Mail, Weather, Search, Politics, News, Finance, Sports & Videos

For male/female partners of men with ED,, this site might be helpful

Yahoo | Mail, Weather, Search, Politics, News, Finance, Sports & Videos

For men with hormonal issues, this site is good

Yahoo | Mail, Weather, Search, Politics, News, Finance, Sports & Videos

Of all the sites, IMO Alt. Support Impotence NewsGroup is the most comprehensive/active. I like the way the threads are organized…all posts to a particular post are kept with the original post. In contrast posts to Yahoo groups are not kept together with original thread.

I follow them all and post to all of them. What I know about ED and measures to temper it I learned at ASI - NewsGroup.

For any of you that might have prostate issuues…. Alt.Support Cancer Prostate - NewsGroup is excellent. I subscribed and started reading that NG several weeks before Ii had my first prostate biopsy, Feb 28th ‘01. For some reason, I’m one of those "queer" ones whose PSA baseline runs 8-10 and two prostate biopsies later….no PCa.

I have confidence in my uroloogist, a Professor of Urology, Baylor College of Medicine - Houston. I have confidence in pathology dept at Methodist Hospital….think Michael DeBakey.

Now that I have Medicare and Medicare Supplement Plan F….prostate biopsy is less expensive for me. Undoubtedly I will have another in several months.

Just my experiences….

Thanks for the links!

I had E.D., due to diabetes, but PE and Ballooning took care of that problem.

Thanks for the help

OK, I think maybe I overdid some exercises tonight. I tried masterbating after exercises but I can’t get an erection. My penis doesnt hurt at all, but I can’t get it up for the life of me. Should I just wait a couple of days to see if it works and function returns?

It’ll return.

Try to make it a habit to finish each PE session with a good erection. If you can’t do that (and you don’t have ED) that is a very good indicator that you have overdone something during that specific routine. Then review your routine and try to figure out what that might have been, avoiding that over-work next time.

A PE workout, ideally, should leave you invigorated, not worn out.

Thanks. Thats good to know. It’s been a couple of days and my dick still works (THANK GOD). That was one of the scariest experiences of my life.

Hy avocet8. I posted here about my ED . You said that there are a couple of docs here to help. Well…I need help… Thanks!

I’m not a doc, Nick, but PM me and I’ll try to direct you to some useful info.

I had an episode last night. We were getting pretty hot and heavy and I was hard as a rock. Once the condom was on, it was over. I need to fix this before she thinks that I am not attracted to her. It’s not the first time that it happened.

Hey Heeted, I have the same problem! When I put on a condom it’s like all the blood get squized out of my dick. I’m gonna try a larger size condom yet I’m only 6.8”. Maybe something you could try too?

I just love this place. The fact that there are not only knowledgeable people here, but the fact they they are willing to give so freely of their time and knowledge makes this place a heaven send for guys like me.I just want to say to everyone who has been fortunate enough to find their way to this site, that you should consider yourselves lucky. And to avocet8 I just wanna say thanks man! You have been an inspiration to me and I appreciate all the input you give both on the board and what you’ve given me in private as well. You rock man!
