Erectile Dysfunction (ED) Sites

It’s a shame that there are those who desperately need help/advice with their perceived/genuine ED and do not always get it. I have always suffered with ED fear of intimacy etc.I have tried the concoctions suggested in the Supplement (topic on this forum) section. Some have worked others increase my depression (on going) I have been to the GP’s, I get the usual “it’s in your head” etc.. But I know my penis and it does not get as hard as it used to if it even does also erections during the night do happen but not are not a regular thing. I just wish there was a concoction of herbs etc.. That would do it all Libido and EQ what a package (excuse the pun) that would be.

Thanks for the previously posted advice Avocet

Hey people,

I had 2 surgeries for priapism due to trazodone and blood thinners,after the first surgery,where they inserted a needle and cut both sides of my head to help the flow, my penis was a good size. But in a week it was back so.After the shunt surgery,where they cut into my right cavernosa to my left spongiosum my penis is half the size hard at the base,and is sideways facing my thigh . I try yo manipulate it so it won’t be so hard but after 6 months it has not changed and I usually only get an erection now at night,but still not a full one can anyone give me an idea what to do ? I am at my wits end !Thanks for your help.

Jersey:

Try vacuum pumping. Low Hg pressure, short intervals, but very regularly. You will probably get most of your former size back, and nocturnals may return.

Just a question, I understand that the smooth muscles around your arteries must relax for an erection. Where are these “valves”? Are they all inside the corpus cavernosum or are they actually in the BC, PC, or IC? Is it a percentage thing? Some are outside the penis and some inside?

Unlike legs and arms, penises blood vessels don’t have valves. It is the “smooth muscle” that holds the penis in a flaccid state, until something sexually exciting to your brain occurs, signaling the smooth muscle to relax, thus letting blood flow in.

Oh, I thought smooth muscles around vessels were the valves. Are all these smooth muscles inside the penis? I just wonder because I rarely get spontaneous erections and if they do happen they are weak. But I have found that sometimes if I relax my pelvic muscles I can get it going, but that takes a lot concentration to relax. It’s almost like a hyper relaxed state because I’m normally a relaxed person who rarely gets stressed.

Smooth “muscle” is unlike other bodily muscle, and doesn’t act like it. For example, you can’t twitch your cock using smooth “muscle.”

But, it serves its purpose, keeping us from having inappropriate erections (most of the time :) )

My daughter’s school across the street has a sign in front and every summer they use it to announce the upcoming ED FOUNDATION 5K FUN RUN. I always thought it was odd a grade school would get involved supporting Erectile Dysfunction research.

:) EDucation?

Unique ED Issues

Please know that my desire to draw attention to the below mentioned website is not to ‘steal sheep’ or misdirect anyone from where they are comfortable. I have not been asked to recruit for them nor am I paid to do this. However, I strongly believe that this information will provide additional support for men who suffer with a more’ physical’ form of ED.

Having ED can sometimes place you in a ‘lost’ state of mind, kind of like sexual abandonment. Some people feel misplaced, without hope in any sexual relationship; even with your self. I know this first hand because I’ve had ED for over 6 years; it’s truly an emotional roller coaster ride. I’ve tried to ignore it and treat it like a zit on my forehead, trusting it will eventually heal, however, it’s still there (albeit to a lesser extent because of PE).

The reasons that cause ED are many, some are common and easy to discuss, some are unique and require professional attention; that’s when the approach to recovery changes. I expect when you’ve been given such news you may want to talk about it with someone; someone who can personally relate to what you may be thinking, someone who knows and understands the fear and worry, someone who can help process and answer your questions, someone who has personal experience.

I have found where such people exist at a website dedicated to ED; it’s called ‘FrankTalk.org.’ Just like the name implies they talk ‘frankly’ about ED issues like: Alternative Treatments, Implants, Injections, Oral Medications, Pumps, Rings, Emotional Support and Sexuality; they even have a chat room.

Since I’ve been visiting FrankTalk.org I have met and bonded with a group of men very much like I have here but from a fresh perspective.

Hi, Goober;

I spent only about 10 minutes there and found misinformation; about effectiveness and costs. And it’s a fairly difficult site to read because of overlays.

Good you found a group you can bond with there. But the info listed is misleading in the several cases I looked at.

Thanks Avocet8,

I appreciate your point of view; however I’d like to understand it better. You did not support your observations; you only provide your opinion based upon a brief 10 minute look. For the sake of the other readers here and myself, please elaborate on your findings.

For example:
Please describe the misinformation that you have found; It is a new site, less than a year old. Perhaps that may explain your difficulties reading any overlays (I don’t know what overlays are).

Also, what did you mean about effectiveness and costs? I didn’t recognize anything being sold; maybe some of the advertisers were selling something?

And please don’t forget to describe the site’s misleading cases. It may require more than 10 minutes providing an adequate presentation on each individual case but I would like to know about each one; I certainly don’t want to be accused of posting anything misleading.

Respectfully,
Goober

Hi, Goober;

Overlays consist of typing over original typing with the result that you can’t read either the original or the one overlaying. I tried copying one for you but the copy feature will not show both. However, reading there is almost impossible.

I suggest you notify the Webmaster of the site that much of the information is illegible. He will be able to straighten that out.

Thanks Avocet8,
I appreciate the explanation of what overlays are; I did not know. When I go to the site it’s nice and clear for me, apparently for the other member there also. Perhaps the problem is something in the mix with your ISP or computer, not sure. However, I did notify the site administrator of your concerns.

Regarding your comments on the sites misleading cases, misinformation and effectiveness and costs; I received your PM about “going back in to answer these questions but still finding the info to hard to read because of typing issues.” If this is the situation for you how could you find it clear enough to make these conclusions the first time you read it?

Pending your answers to these questions your comments sound strongly suggestive that I personally have misled the readers here at Thunder’s Place. That may or may not be your motivation in making these comments, I don’t know but you need to understand that I don’t appreciate being portrayed as misleading without proof or support of your accusations.

Until you validate your claims about FrankTalk.org concerning misleading cases, misinformation and effectiveness and costs, I urge the readers here at Thunder’s Place to interpret your comments as speculative superficial opinions. By using your own words: “reading there is almost impossible; I suggest you notify the Webmaster of the site that much of the information is illegible,” I will not trust your judgment or comments on something that you clearly cannot understand.
