Depressed=low libido. Why?

Low dopamine levels and testosterone levels contribute to depression, so it makes sense. Also of course depressed people don’t feel like doing anything at all and that includes sex.

I think it's the woman's job to tighten up to fit her man--it's lots easier for us.

Regular aerobic exercise, min 30 mins 3 times a week can be a great help in allieviating depression. Problem is it doesn’t work straight away, takes about two months before a noticable effect and in the short term can make you feel worse. Motivation is also a problem. Last thing you want to do when your depressed is go for a run.

Exercise doesn’t help that much. I work out 6-7 days a week.

I`m not taking antidepressants, and I dont want to, I`m not suffering from major depression. The best feeling I had was when I took some natural “I dont know what milk” made from bees to boost my testosterone level(and it did), or when I took Naposim(steroid). I know I do not do any form of exercise(I`m lazy), and I`m very very thin(but tall), but I`m 21 years old, so my testosterone level should be normal… I havent done blood test, but I know and recognize the simtopms of low testosterone production…

That’s absolutely correct. I’m probably going to lose my house and all my money here in a couple of months because my business looks like it’s going under and I don’t feel like doing anything at all. I go home at night and eat and then just lay in bed and watch TV. I had problems with no sex drive before all this happened and I REALLY don’t care about it now.

Ok, now we may be getting somewhere. Naposim is Romain Dianabol. How long did you take this and how long ago did you stop taking it? What steps did you take to bring your natural testosterone levels back up to normal after stopping? Also, why did you take a drug like Dianabol without exercising?

I have heard many bodybuilding talk about feeling depressed after steroid cycles. It is very likely you are experiencing suppression of your natural testosterone levels. You should do some research PCT (Post Cycle Therapy). This will very likely assist you getting over your mild depression.

I only took it for one month a year ago. I dont think it messed up my hormones cause I was already on the low side of own testosteron production even before taking Dianabol. And I took to little to have really bad side effects. I am 100% sure . What I`m saying is that I`m 21 and I look loke a 17 year old one. Strange is that when I was about 16-17 I started jerking off… (almost every day with ejaculation)…makes me wonder.

Makes you wonder.. if time has frozen when you started masturbating?

No man! Be serious! I read somewhere that masturbating at a early age can lead to problems with the natural growth and developing of the body.

Agree with this.

Then you are safe because 16-17 is not an early age.

I would strongly suggest some form of exercise. Some like UD and myself notice no difference; but, the vast majority of people will have a favorable reaction. Exercise alone is clinically shown, (lazy, no link), to have superior long term benefits when compared to either just meds or meds & exercise combined.

In the same vein of thought I would also recommend the fish oil. Dirt cheep, no medical down side, and plenty of health benefits even if it doesn’t help with your negative thinking.

Disclaimer:
I am anti-psych meds and believe that the US even more than most industrial nations throws this crap out like candy. Bush and others are now trying to push laws that will allow them to carry out mandatory mental health screenings and then require you to eat the candy. However, people do exist who’s brain chemistry no amount of “happy-think”, exercise, or meditation will be able to reset. For people like this meds can be a God-send.
I expect that very few of those on anti-depressants fit into the God-send and that most would be much better of the meds.

Running a Massive Co-Front.

There were times when I started to exercise and indeed it made me feel good in just like 2 weeks(probabily because my body is young and responds very well to exercise). But after 2 weeks I just quit, cauze I`m god damn lazy. I always feel like I just wanna sit home on my butt all day long. I must do something about this… Thanks everyone for the input. In a way I already knew what I have to do, I just need some motivation.

:D

16-17 isn’t early, indeed. Actually if someone told me: “you are 21 but you look like 16-17”, I would take it as a compliment, because looking young is a good thing.

You seriously don’t expect to “grow” while sitting on your butt just like a vegetable or smthng, do you? :D You need to do some exercise man! ;)

Here’s the trick: tell yourself : “I’m hard-working” , “I’m hard-working” , instead of “I’m lazy” ,every time.

I just recorded my own voice saying that and other stuff, on a small portable mp3 player, and I just started listening to it when I go to bed. I wonder if it will have an effect.

By the way Nick .. Are you sure that what you are feeling isn’t depression but anxiety?? Anxiety is something different and there is a very simple guide on how to overcoming the anxiety.. Those are basically the only rules you need to you use if you want to overcome it by yourself.. It’s pretty easy and logical. It’s call the Linden method and my bro would be a wreck without it .. He had such a severe anxiety that he totally collapsed.. This simple guide turned him back to normal in just over a month and he’s much mentally stronger since then. I can send you the PDF if you want .. It’s a great reading by the way :)
