De-Sensitizing Condom

Anyone every tried a desensitizing condom? I think they have lidocaine inside.

Yes, dont use them unless you need them, or youll get in serious trouble. IOW, youll run out of gas before you finish. I thought I was a master mind wearing one when I didnt need to. Big mistake.

Fieldmouse, does it desensitize the woman at all?

I have never heard of these condoms; are they over the counter or prescription? Lidocaine is a presciption medication last I looked.

I know there are these kind of condoms out there, I may be wrong about whats in them. Some kind of mild local anestethic.

I would think it would be a pretty effective way to help deal with premature ejaculation problems, and perhaps overcome the problem with some positive reinforcement training while using these condoms. Could also get lidocaine gel or other topical anesthetic apply it, then the condom, but it could be somewhat tedious.

Im pretty sure they our benzocaine. I have tried the Trojan “Extended Pleasure” and was very unhappy with the condoms (Wish I hadnt bought the 12 pack). I start to lose hardness because I couldnt feel the sensation at all really. But because of this I was really anxious and still had to worry about controling ejaculation. Also, I was very paranoid that some of the benzocaine had gotten on the outside of the condom and I was worried about her feeling anything.

Another important thing was that because I couldnt really feel it I wasnt enjoying it and a women can tell when you aren’t enjoying it. My rhythm and excitement during the thrusting had obviously changed.

Wow. I didn’t think they numbed that much. Maybe won’t be trying one.

These condoms are evil … I have had a PE problem, and I went out and got a 12 pack of de-sensitizing condoms. I was going like a champ for about 5 minutes and then all of a sudden I couldn’t feel my penis at all. It just went limp. I pulled the condom off, but it felt like it was still on. I hit for awhile, but I couldn’t feel a damn thing. My girlfriend was upset, but I told her I thought I needed it. Caused a good moment in my life, but that’s about it.

I’m curious as to whether I have premature ejaculation or not. I would like to see your take on my story..

Ok where to start… When I get a handjob, or a blow job, can last 15 minutes easily, and I seem to be able to thwart ejaculation attacks, and tend to “want to” ejaculate when I finally decide to do so, and ejaculate.. When we’re actually having sex though, it’s very variable. A few days ago, after an awfully stressful day actually, I lasted about 4 minutes i think, which was pretty shameful.. I remember times when I was completely sober, with regular condom, all natural, I could last more than 15 minutes, and she’d start telling me to come. I also did it after a night out, which involved some drinking, and I went about half an hour, and I believe the whiskey I had had an effect:) So I wouldn’t mind hearing what you guys have to say about this, and suggest acupuncture or hypnosis ( compare ) provided I seem to have premature ejaculation condition. Also if you guys could comment on whether penis enlargement will help and how long it would take to see results provided I keep it up well.. Thanks!

Just noticed, I agree that the “extended plasure” condoms are evil and actually pleasure killers. I used a trojan one too and while changing positions, I just went down, and could not bring it back up!!! more shameful than squirting early!!

essekziki the average time from insertion to ejaculation during sex is 2-3 minutes bareback at least. I do not know the averages for condoms.

In my opinion these numbing condoms won’t last much longer, at least with premature ejaculation you can probably get it up again much sooner than with the numbing effect. At best I imagine it would be like doing someone with a strap on. Your strokes, rhythm and enthusiasm would be different since you can’t feel a thing. As HughChardon said, women can tell if you are enjoying it, when they see you aren’t enjoying it as much it can be a downer to the whole event.

My friend gave me one of those to try one and LOL!! Don’t use them, you stop feeling your penis after a couple minutes. “Is it still Up? I Can’t feel my penis!” My girlfriend could vouch that was the truth!

I have also tried them (once) with similar result, my dick went numb then soft. I couldn’t feel anything for about 10 minutes after I took off the condom. Wouldn’t try it again.
