Confused

Confused

Hello,
I just created an account here to ask you people a bunch of questions about the penis.
Hope “Sexual Health” is the right sub-forum for this.

Some history:

I’m 22 years old.
The problem all probably started because I didn’t learn to masturbate after puberty and didn’t watch much sexually arousing stuff (porn).
I started masturbating *prone* rubbing my penis against the mattress and imagining things.
So I basically have never examined my penis much. I just rub and in 5 mins I ejaculate into a tissue or something. Done.
Apparently prone masturbation is bad : healthystrokes.com.

So I’ve decided to stop it and do it the normal way. But I can’t seem to ejaculate this way no matter what. My erotic imaginations don’t go wild when I stimulate my penis with my hand while sitting.

Some questions:

0. When a man is having sex, the inner head of the penis is completely. The foreskin gets pulled up, that is. My inner head is *really really* sensitive. How on earth to people thrust with it? Doesn’t it hurt? I shake to even gentle touch it. How can people withstand such pressures there?

1. Is smegma produced in greater quantities when you masturbate with your hand (the to and fro rocking motion)?
—- When I experimented a little with my hand, (and failed) I felt something uncomfortable in my penis for sometime. For the first time in my life I managed to pull the foreskin completely behind to check.
—- I could see *lots* of hardened smegma sticking to it. My inner penis was completely coated with smegma.

2. Is too much smegma production a sign of applying excessive pressure while masturbating?

3. Is it okay to feel some pain in the penis after masturbating with the hand?

4. Smegma smells bad. Can it smelt by people when you’re fully clothed?

5. I’ve heard that in a curved penis (bending downwards) the curvature becomes visible when erect. Mine is slightly bent downwards when erect.
But it totally bends downwards when *not erect*. Is this a problem?

6. How susceptible is the inner part of the penis (under the foreskin) to infections? Can it touch clothing? Can it touch the table?

Thanks a lot for your time.
I know I’m a little too old to ask these questions. But hey, better late than never.

I’m sorry this was posted on this sub-forum. Could a moderator move to an appropriate place please?

Hi, n00b threads are automatically redirected to the newbie forum and then stuck where they need to be by a mod; not your fault.

I am grouchy and hung over and so am giving you the most bare bones of a reply (trust me on this; it is for the best).

I went to that link and I don’t like what I read!
I humped into the bed a few times too but I stopped doing it after noticing that my erections went partly soft on the underside and glans. Either that or I rolled over onto it before falling asleep and may have injured it that way?
I didn’t tell anybody at the time because I was too afraid to. When I look back now, I don’t remember having full erections since and have been looking out for “erection pills” ever since I found out they existed. Coincidentally, I don’t think I’ve had a wet dream since then either.
I wish I would have known this information but it’s too late now because I have been experiencing ED for a very long time and there has been nothing to remedy it and I am extremely depressed about it.

My current dimensions: flaccid: 8" x 6.5" erect: 9.5" x 7.125" glans: soft length:1.825" soft diameter 1.65" firm length:2.286" firm diameter:1.90"

Goal: flaccid: 9" x 7" (.1" length .5" girth) erect: 10" x 8" ( .5" length 1" girth) glans: soft length: 2.25" soft diameter: 2" firm length: 2.5" firm diameter: 2.25"

Ultimate goal: flaccid: 10" x 8" erect: 11.5" x 9.75" glans: soft length: 2.5" soft diameter: 2.25" firm length: 4" firm diameter: 3" In other words: A big, fat elephant cock!

Not every foreskin retracts upon penetration but most do. The more stimulation the glans gets the less being exposed will be bothersome. If you don’t like it you have options, like using a numbing creme inside a condom.

It’s got nothing to with your hand. Your body is constantly replacing skin cells by letting the cells deeper in the skin divide. On average half the resulting cells eventually migrate to the surface and are sloughed off. Masturbation or sex may loosen cells that are about ready to go, but they would eventually go regardless. Once the cells slough off they are either washed/rubbed/blown away, or they hang around. The ones that hang around start to dissolve and get digested by beneficial bacteria. That’s all smegma is; skin debris. Don’t like it? Rinse it away.

If it was me, I wouldn’t do anything painful to myself.

If your skin retracts in public maybe. I’ve never smelled any and about 25% of the clothed men I encounter have foreskins. Maybe they WASH with clear water every day or two.

What could you possibly mean by that? All penises tend to stick out/up when erect and that’s generally obvious to those in the vicinity. All flaccid penises tend to hang limply in whatever direction gravity takes them or the environment forces them.

If it bothers you, then maybe. Penises grow all sorts of ways.

It’s mucosa, like the inside of your mouth. I would not go introducing cantaminants willy nilly. Smegma (even invisble trace amounts) is a natural barrier to many infections. But if you damage the surface it can’t keep germs out.

That web site is a load of rubbish. It makes no attempt to distinguish between circumcised and intact prone masturbation. It uses medical diagrams that mislabel or ignore the foreskin.

For the intact man rubbing the erect penis into things can be very gentle and still be satisfying because he has the thousands of pleasure-receptive nerves in the foreskin and frenulum. In this context the glans is mainly a scaffold to support stimulation of the foreskin.

In a cut man rubbing the glans against dry surfaces will most definitely degrade his sexual experience progressively since the mucosal surface of his glans will toughen and basically get dry and numb.

It sounds to me that a lot if not all of your problems have to do with cleanliness.

Every time you take a shower you have to retract your foreskin and clean off all of the smegma. When drying off, retract the foreskin and dry the head.

I think your head will become less and less ultra sensitive once you maintain better penis cleanliness.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I read this earlier and I was going to suggest you contact TLC, but here he is. He has a lot of foreskin knowledge since makes a device to restore foreskin to cut men.

A few times? I’ve been doing it since about 1 year! I’ve done it at least 200-300 times.

I can attain a quite a full erection (but I don’t know what exactly “full” is, since I don’t usually see my penis while masturbating). My problem is inability to ejaculate while masturbating normally.

Did you feel a lot of pain when this “injury” happened?

I don’t feel any pain really.

Thanks TLCTugger.
I wanted to clarify what exactly I do.

I lie prone on the bed. All my weight on the mattress. NOT on my hands. Then I rub my abdomen region against the mattress for about 5-10 minutes until I ejaculate. Most times I’m wearing my underwear while doing this because I find it more comfortable.

What worries me is the fact that a normally erect penis is either parallel to the ground (assume a person is standing up) or even higher and points at the stomach.
But when I masturbate prone, my penis isn’t allowed to reach this position. It is stuck there in between the mattress and my body. If 90 degrees is a normal erection, mine will be at 20-30 degrees or so.

I just don’t seem to be able to ejaculate doing it with my hands. I’ve never done it and so I can’t even know if I *lost* it as such because of prone masturbation or don’t know how to do it.

Thanks gprent.
But how will the head lose the ultra-sensitivity this way?

Also do I really want this happen? Given how I have trouble ejaculating with my hands, won’t lesser sensitivity mean worse?

I truly lack knowledge here. When I touch my head I feel some kind of a sudden repulsion. I wouldn’t call it pleasure at all. If my foreskin were removed now, I would have some painful days.
Heck, I even find it uncomfortable when my head touches my underwear during an erection!

During actual sex, the head is what stimulates you right?
