Can you buy Antibiotics without a prescription?

This will be my 3rd time getting some form of UTI - urinary tract infection, most likely some form of protists. I know what it is and I hate going to the doctor. I just want to get some “Cipro” I even checked the petmed’s and they want a Vet’s prescription and Canada is extremely expensive and takes 2 to 3 weeks.

Thoughts?

In the US, you can’t get Cipro without a prescription.

Even though you hate going to the doctor, it’s important to find out why you are having these relapses of the UTI. What “bug” is causing it and what medication best treats it? Cipro may or may not be the best drug for whatever you keep getting.

I wouldn’t think you could buy Cialis either without a prescription. I am just wondering and I will eventually go to the doctor after trying a few home remedies.

The literally look at you like you have an STD etc.

Excuse my ignorance, but what are ‘Protists’?

Sorry,

I think this is what I meant?

Prostatitis is an inflammation of the prostate gland, in men. A prostatitis diagnosis is assigned at 8% of all urologist and 1% of all primary care physician visits in the United States.[1]

I had a similar problem and when to the doctor for a UTI. He gave me a standard urine test and it was negative. He thought it could be a prostate infection. So to make sure he gave me Cipro. I think he thought it might be something else like STD, but who knows.

Get a relationship going with your local pharmacists they can prescribe stuff to you so you just walk in tell them your problem and they will be like I will get you something to fix you right up.

<If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are headed>

Maybe you should try Bactrim instead. Just go to your doctor one more time and tell him you think your problem is prostatitis. If he agrees, then he should know it will take an extended period of 30 to 45 days on Bactrim DS, double strength to rid your prostate of the infection.

The best thing about using your doctor one more time is you can get your prescription filled at Wal Mart and get a generic Bactrim, SMZ/TMP DS 800-106 antibiotic for like $4.00 for a months supply.

Once the doctor sees that you suspect prostatitis and that explains why your UTI keeps coming back, and he should prescribe the extended treatment plan. Like I said, I would try Bactrim DS.

I actually ended up using the Canadian online source, because even though they were expensive, it still beat the cost of a doctors appointment plus the drugs.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Thanks for clarifying that. Why aren’t you going back to your doctor to pursue an accurate diagnosis of this condition? Is it because of cost factors? I think guesswork in medical matters is never a good thing, best to find out for sure, that is if you can afford it.

3rd time getting UTI???

Are you married or in a steady relationship?

Have you had any STD tests done? (Blood and Urine)

Are you by chance a diabetic?

I'm a big fan of 50 Cent, or as we call him in Zimbabwe, four hundred million dollars.

Screwing around with PE is the cause. The first time I pissed though a restrictor or an all day compression much like the therabrand many people use. I have powerful PC muscle so what think happened was some of the urine went backwards into some thing else. This last time seemed similar but I think it was from edging with a clamp on?

This is why I do not want ot go to the doctor. THey think I am doing some side beaver and want something to kill an STD.

I thought about the Canadian thing. It has been 3 UTI’s over the course of three years. I would like to have something on hand, because I wait too long. It starts driving you insane. I took some cephalexin and it seemed like it was going to work, but it seems to be back. It has been almost a week.

If a pharmacist is doing this, they should lose their license to dispense medication. That is against the law in this country, I don’t know about yours.

sunny A day without sunshine is like a day without laughter :sun:

I keep a well stocked crash kit and medicine chest, complete with anti-bacterials.

I probably shouldn’t refer you to any specifid online Rx store that some portions of our government might consider to be too dark of a shade of gray.

If I were you and looking to acquire some Cephalexin, Amoxycillin, or perhaps Tetracycline, I would check the same online Rxs’s that I had used to shop for V or C. Plenty will NOT carry what you are looking for but you might find some that do.

Running a Massive Co-Front.

Fuck what the doctor thinks. You should go back to get an accurate diagnosis. If it is from what you think it is, again screw what he thinks. You want the cure. By giving you the cipro he’s covering his ass as well as yours. In his mind just because your urine came up clean doesn’t mean you don’t have something and that your telling him the truth. In my mind he’s being a good doctor to you.
