Can testicles switch places?

Can testicles switch places?

I’m asking this purely out of curiosity. Can testicles switch places or is there some physical aspect that absolutely will not allow that to happen? No, I don’t think this has happened to me, and no, I don’t know anyone that does. Just something that popped into my head and I couldn’t find an answer for it.

No, they don’t switch places, but they move around, of course. This makes it easier for us to sit, for one thing.

No three card monte with your yam bag and friends. However watch out for testicular torison in which you ball swings around and bad thing happen.

“You see, I don’t want to do good things, I want to do great things.” ~Alexander Joseph Luthor

I know Lewd Ferrigno personally.

The scrotum (bag) has a septum (tissue divider) that keeps them each in a separate sac. They do move up and down, but I’m sure you knew that. :)

Torsion… think about twisting. if you twist your jockstrap and it causes pain, think about your testicles and the tubes in a twist.

Yes they can but it is very uncommon.

If we both get rip roaring drunk at the same time my testicles switch places with the testicles of a 36 year old cab driver named Bob that lives in Philadelphia.

Iamaru seems to have located a wormhole.

Since I live in germany - and just out of curiosity - are transatlantic or transpacific testicular switches (I think this is the scientific term - if I recall my urology course correctly) possible? And if so , how frequently do they occur? And - last but not least - are they reversible?

Thank you for taking care, iamaru.

Some med students I used to hang out back in the days said that it can happen and thus kill the testes. I don`t know if it`s true but it always made me cross my legs each time I think of this. A little story related to balls, once while playing rugby one of my friend was tackled by two guys one of them ripped one of his testicle with a shoe.We rushed him to the hospital with one testicle in a frozen bag .He now lives with one testicle. From that day on I stopped rugby and soccer.

If they twist, it can cause serious pain and they will have to be untwisted before damage is caused. The answer is no; I know somebody who this happened to.

I love GOLD

My son (12 at the time) had a twisted testicle after being tackled playing rugby. It is VERY important to get this this treated urgently as the blood supply to the testicle can be restricted causing all sorts of problems. Luckily he was rushed to the hospital where an operation was performed to untwist it, the testicle quickly “pinked up” and the surgeon put in a “suspensory stitch” so it couldn’t happen again.

Amazingly during the operation he was found to have a third testicle! This was removed as it can cause problems in later life apparently. The doc called it a “vestige” I think.

All this groping around with his privates by doctors and nurses made him lose any embarrassment he may have had and his favourite chat up line in later life was “Want to see my operation scars?”

First post btw
