Benefits From No Ejaculation

For about the last two weeks I have been mostly refraining from ejaculation during sexual activities (I have ejaculated once during that time). In doing so I have noticed a variety of changes.

First and foremost, I am now experiencing multiple orgasms with sensations remarkably similar to what my wife describes of her orgasms. I have had orgasms back to back in quick succession along with a variety of intensities. One of the more subtle benefits of this is noticing/seeing/feeling the pleasure my wife gets from bringing me there, keeping me there, and driving me crazy. It is the same type of thing I have enjoyed for years with her and I know of many guys who share the same view. Prior to now both her and I had a fixation on a singular end-point for me and despite how long the sex lasted it can in no way compare to the sex of the last couple of weeks. I have had smaller non-ejaculatory orgasms for the last year or so, but although enjoying them I had never fully embraced what they could lead to.

The second change is that I am now producing quite a bit of pre-cum. Up until now I have always produced very little, if any. This change is mostly apparent during sexual activity. I am not leaking before-hand at all at this time, who knows if it will continue to increase as time goes by.

The third change is that during many of my orgasms, especially ones that cause my abdominal wall to contract very forcefully, I am now expelling a fluid. My wife has said it is very sweet. Unlike the pre-cum that just comes out at random during stimulation this only happens during intense orgasms, but like the pre-cum it just kind of dribbles out, it doesn’t shoot. At first I thought it might have been urine because of how hard I was contracting, but I know how difficult it is to pee while erect and how much concentration is needed. Also the fact that it doesn’t shoot out nor taste like urine kind of eliminates that as a possibility. I wonder if it could be a portion of the fluid that would be in my ejaculate.

The final change is that I am no longer noticing an energy drain afterwards. Quite the opposite in fact. This was the change I most expected, but it has surprisingly been outweighed in importance by these other differences that I wasn’t expecting.

I have tried the no-ejaculation thing in the past, but always with methods which were more esoteric. I never stuck with those from lack of results and a general sense of ‘it should not be this complicated’. The biggest difference during this latest round has been that I am now feeling much more. Part of this has been a result of my foreskin restoration as I now have a larger variety of possible sensations. But the major difference I believe is in the conscious effort I made to really feel what was happening within my body, not just to my body. By doing so I was able to tune in with the sensations which lead to orgasm as opposed to those which lead to ejaculation. I am not 100% sure they are “different”, but that is the best way I can describe it.

If anybody is considering the path of no-ejaculation I would highly recommend it. It needn’t be a 100% of the time deal, but the amount you can learn about your own body is amazing. There is a depth of sensation there that just isn’t experienced without delving inside yourself more. :)

You are going to have to explain your technique to me. You have an orgasm but you don’t ejaculate. How do you do that?

The supposed connection between ejaculation and “energy” isn’t universal. I rarely feel “drained” after ejaculation. Conserving semen to boost your body “energy” is a Taoist concept not accepted by everyone. Prostate health, for one thing, requires some frequency of ejaculation. So one shouldn’t give it up for long periods, IMO.

Congratulations on your restoration.

That’s just how neurotransmitters in your brain work, and refraining from ejaculation is one of many things that affect that. But I agree, it’s awesome to do on weekends.

“The Multi-Orgasmic Man” addresses this quite a bit, suggesting that periods of non-ejaculation are healthier and more rewarding for men. The idea is that sperm production/replenishment takes a lot of resources, and by prolonging the period between rejuvenations a man has more energy. There is a lot more to it, I am not doing a good job of explaining it, but it seems that you have touched on quite a bit of what the book suggests. I haven’t experienced any of this yet, nor have I been able to achieve a “dry” orgasm. But I keep studying and will keep trying!

Hey I havn’t come in 2 weeks either, and all I have to show for it is a couple wet dreams. Great.

There are only negative long-term benefits to “no ejaculation,” if that is one’s constant policy.

It sounds to me that you are getting into sex in a very nice way, maybe for the first time in your life; paying attention to what is happening for both of you and really enjoying the process rather than just trying to get from A to B.

What your wife is tasting is indeed some portion of ejaculate; congrats on it being sweet. Turns women on more to oral sex.

I have always felt fairly drained after ejaculation. I realize not everybody does, but for me it was always something that happened. I would often be able to have sex immediately afterwards (that wasn’t the issue for me), it was mostly I just didn’t like feeling like it took so much out of me. That was my initial impetus behind experimenting with some of these techniques. I also concur with some frequency of ejaculation, what that should be is probably going to be individual specific though.

Still working on the restoration, but thanks. I have full coverage when turtled, but only bunching behind the corona at my normal hang. It is a long process coming from such a tight cut, but has definitely been beneficial for sensation and enjoyment.

I have several dry orgasms during intercourse, I’m not talking about delaying orgasms: they are real orgasms, but in the last one there is an “explosion” of semen and it feels good :)

Regarding the “how” for the non-ejaculating orgasms …

Prior to now I hadn’t been very successful with the various techniques that have been described. I tried squeezing, relaxing, chanting (j/k on that one), etc. with nothing to show for it. Most likely because I never stuck with it. Not certain on the reason, but I can say that it always seemed like work to accomplish anything, and I didn’t really believe it should be so difficult.

Part of this may have been my mindset as refraining from ejaculation was always the goal previously. I suppose it was really no different than making the goal to reach ejaculation (except reaching is easier than refraining). Over the last year I have been working on noticing more the sensations during sex. It got to the point where I would often have small orgasms during sex on the way to ejaculation, but I was still trying to incorporate the other techniques to prevent ejaculation when I was trying to refrain (which was admittedly not very often). Recently however I changed that mindset.

My latest attempt, which ended up being successful, was to eliminate the thoughts of [no]ejaculation as a goal in any way. My wife and I began to treat sex like an exploration in feeling. For my wife, this was nothing new for her body nor was it new for me in regards to her body. But for both her and I it was quite the shift in experience as it related to my body.

As I explored the feelings in my body more I found those smaller orgasms could continue to build. I think that prior to this change in focus I would start chasing the ejaculation experience when these smaller orgasms kicked in, or in the case of no ejaculation I was chasing the ejaculation to try and refrain while experiencing a great “dry” orgasm that is often mentioned in taoist and similar literature. Maybe this happened because they were smaller and therefore didn’t feel as good as when I reached ejaculation. In any case, once I started focusing on my feelings I found those smaller ones were the tip of the iceberg. Just like my wife’s orgasms they would start small and continue to build in intensity.

I realize their isn’t much “method” to what I describe. I think my initial increases in sensation were from the foreskin restoration and finally being able to feel much more. However it wasn’t until I actually went inside my own body and stopped chasing the ejaculation that I experienced any breakthrough. As I type this I feel like the ejaculation being the focus (whether to do so or to refrain) was the real problem in my attempts. From what I have experienced recently the body doesn’t need to be anywhere near ejaculation to reach orgasm and as a guy that is completely opposite of what we are taught.

I can’t recall where I read the reasoning, but I remember somebody saying it wasn’t surprising that guys internalized so poorly as the penis is on the outside, and we can see where the pee comes out so no internal understanding is needed. Girls on the other hand from day one have to internalize much more as they don’t get the convenience of seeing their parts in the same situation.

I understand exactly what you are saying, great isn’t it.

Hello,Yes the dry orgasm’s are very cool, and if you would like to practice,I think I cold find a link .I use breathe control and Mild meditation(yea I know) .I Have learned that you can sometimes trick your body into not Ejaculating if you try not to let your breathing get to heavy(keep a slow steady calm breathing ritual. And this itself should help alot.

Another thing you need to do is Look for pregasm signs(pregasm is that feeling just before that oh shit here I come),and teach yourself with breath control or even stopping your strokes to cool off until you can see this sign soon enough to act to avoid coming.I have found some literature on this if anyone has an interest to learn what I Have learned so far,Read this it has more then making yourself last longer,I have used some of these techniques and have had success,I can manage on average 1-1.5 hours of a pretty good paced romp from practice understanding your pregasm, learning to stay off orgasm, and am starting to enjoy the Multiple orgasms spoke of earlier in this post.

It takes a bit of reading and being serious about wanting to make yourself last longer, but hey she will have a new appreciation for your endurance when you get her off so many times.I hope this helps you guys like it helped me.I love the orgasms without ejaculate often, but look out if you stay off to long it’s gonna go big :) lol

Ps: I’ve noticed way more precome also, not always clear either, almost like some Come is sneeking past with more ejaculate fluid.Nice post ..

When you are PEing.... he sees.

For gprent. I first read about dry orgasms in a book from the mid-80’s called ESO (Extended Sexual Orgasm), by Dr. Alan Brauer and his wife Donna Brauer. In a nutshell, it involves squeezing the pc muscles to keep semen in the body during orgasm.

I’ve tried in the past. Although I was able to go a lot longer after having an orgasm, I was never able to withhold all of my semen. Some always leaked out, so I was never able to get that super massive orgasm I read about in the book. But with my new pe workouts I’ve been putting an extra effort in working my pc muscles and plan to try again. I hope to be as successful as chobbs.
