Hey guys I really want to know if this it’s normal and if the guys around here do too, It’s that I automatically kegel when I am jerking and this is really bad, I don’t want to do this anymore, but I can’t, it’s just a reflex thing, I think this it’s lowering my libido and also my PC muscle gets too tired. How did I stop?

Do you also have premature ejaculation problems?

If you are tense you tend to kegel automatically (at least for me) and you need a lot of conscious effort and practice to not kegel unless you want to. I practiced being relaxed and focusing right on my PC and not flexing. When you get good, you can even orgasm and cum without a PC flex; I can do this for 2 seconds before my PC overrides me and flexes.

I always kegal when I am getting an erection. I didn’t know it was bad to do that, though. Crap :(

On the other hand, if you kegal constantly, wouldn’t the muscle get stronger over time?

Hmmmm… if one has to kegal to get a 100% erection, I take it that one might be overtraining?

There are really a couple questions or issues here.

First: how do you stop? You stop by going slowly and paying attention to your body when you are masturbating. When you are masturbating and you feel your pelvic floor muscles contracting, stop and relax. When you are relaxed, resume. If you start to tense up again, stop.

This may take time. You are trying to unlearn the habits and practices of a lifetime.

With all that said, I don’t know that kegeling while you masturbate is a bad thing. Your more basic complaint seems to be lowered libido and a tired PC muscle. It could be that your PC muscle needs more exercise, not less. You might want to try kegeling when you are not masturbating. I have never heard anyone say that having a strong PC muscle lowers your libido.

There are other things that you might want to try to increase your libido. Do a search on libido, and I’ll bet you will find a lot of useful threads here.

I will try to explain better: I do practice PC exercises when I am not masturbating and I have a strong PC, but I don’t know how (I discover this day by accident) this seems to make my masturbation worse, yesterday I was not even horny and have a great orgasm trying too not flex the PC. I think training the PC maybe can cause me to automatically flex when I am masturbating or even sex. I never have problems with premature ejaculations (maybe a day or two, but nothing to worry about it).

The thing is that I can cum without masturbating too much just using my PC but this orgasm it’s not great like the one I felt yesterday, It’s a little dry (not literally speaking) and no funny, and also I some sort of getting a feeling of regret after this, very strange thing.

I will try no masturbate without flexing, It’s hard to jelq too without flexing the PC, a real time work.

Phyriel, it sounds like you’re referring to involuntary BC contractions, or “tugback.” Consciously focusing on relaxing is one way to deal with it. Another way is to make the contractions conscious during masturbation or sex. Try holding a strong kegel during your inhalation and relaxing during exhalation. Then try doing the same thing, but holding the contractions and relaxations for several breaths. Let me know how that goes for you.

PS: Make them STRONG kegels, not just lightly clenching the urethral/perineum area. Really clench, and get your asshole involved in the contraction (sorry, sounds crude, but just try it please!)

I have already read a lot of times WestLA explanations about it the difference between PC and BC, and still don’t know. But it’s the same muscle used when you want to stop the urine flow I am referring about it.

I will try on this exercise, and about making him strong, what happens with me it’s a very strange thing, I do exercise until I point where I cannot pass further, and If a stay 3 days for example without exercising I lose a lot of strenght.
