Modern Kilts: perfect for P.e.

Modern Kilts: perfect for P.e.

Hey all,
I wasn’t sure where to put this so i went for grooming. I did a search and found that Utilikilts are only mentioned like once, which is pretty crazy to me because its like they were designed for our hobbies. If you haven’t seen them, Utilikilts | American made Utility Kilts for everyday wear is where to find them. If those are too expensive or you want a more traditional look you can go with Sport Kilt: Shop Athletic Kilts & Modern/Traditional Kilt Outfits. I can see where it would be hard to justify the price tag on the Utilikilt but as a proud owner for several years, i can tell you they are very worth it, especially compared to traditional kilts, whom have no pockets at all.

Points in Utilikilts’ favor:
1: Ladies love em, independent of race or creed. Having the huevos to go so outside of the social stylistic norm is a great way to make yourself stand out. Not to mention the "curiosity" questions are a great conversation starters. "hey are going traditional under there?" "Only ask if you wanna find out, milady" etc.

2: They are very practical and stylish. Most Utilikilts are made from very durable material and stylized after a mix between slacks jeans and a toolbelt. Plus you can order the in stuff like duck leather to make them even more durable and waterproof.

3: non restrictive, almost impossible to have a bulge that looks out of place (ads, or any other innerwear device)

4: not only does a Utilikilt have ample pockets, the pockets are goddamn huge. Im not a small guy and i can fit my arm up to the elbow from the fingertips into both of the front pockets, on the website they advertise this by having a dude hide a whole six pack inside the kilt. Meaning you could carry almost any equipment with you, should you be so inclined. Plus the Survival Utilikilt has detachable cargo pockets that you can stuff the entire kilt into, they have an example of crossing a stream without getting it wet by detaching the pocket, putting the kilt inside and throwing it across the stream.

5: should you be so inclined you can run your entire hanging routine in your house without undoing your belt. if anyone comes over or suprises you just disconnect the weights and stand up and you are a regular guy walking around in a kilt.

6: The Utilikilts are produced in Seattle, meaning that they are no longer strictly for Scottsmen, they are now American, so pretty much anyone can wear them, and if anyone gives you any guff just be like "u jus jealous of my sick ass utilikilt"

7: probably the least restrictive garment you can own. Good airflow, and almost no restriction. Plus the materials are thick enough to be relatively warm in somewhat chilly temps (not very friendly to temps below like 50 Fahrenheit, but I’m a texan so if the temp goes below 50 i am already refusing to go outside), and open enough to be really comfortable in even some of the most punishing heats (popular on the forged in fire series because its popular for people working in forges who have to deal with furnace temps regularly).

8: Utilikilts have a built in privacy flap in the front for windy days, and accidental exposure risk mitigation. The material is pretty heavy too, so it takes a pretty serious wind to actually get the flaps moving.

I’ve already owned a survival Utilikilt for several years and its easily the best piece of clothing I’ve ever owned. I plan on buying a new one when i get some spare money laying around. I considered making a profile and putting a code in here that would give discounts to you, and if enough of you used it i would get a free kilt, but thats like a really big value and i dont wanna get banned or something for looking like a commercial acct. If any mods know the ruling on this let me know, cause i could really use a free kilt and the money does not seem forthcoming. Also I’m not like super invested, i just was really surprised that nobody had brought them up yet.

Anyways, what do y’all think? The main detractions are the price, the social stigma of being "crazy" by choosing to dress this way, and its not very cold friendly. Do yall think that there is a better garment out there? any questions or comments are welcome.

Restarting Muh Gains, may brodin guide my cock.

update: the free kilt thing isnt going on anymore in the “sell enough” way. I gotta go find a way to get a sweet ass picture to get me one of those. Oh well.

They may take our lives, but they’ll never take our freedom! I’d look like Mel Gibson in Braveheart.
