Looks essentials THE HELPERS GUIDE

Andro, its been a week of OP for you, anything? I have EVOO and managed almost 10 minutes for 2 days now. Hoping for whiter teeth at a minimum.

Many Eastern medicines were curing people long before the West discovered aspirin. Holistic healing starts with an open mind.

Interesting thread, JB

Started on 4/22?

First couple of days I neglected to brush first— I had some burning in the mouth for most of the day— now I’m brushing with baking soda both pre and post and no more burning.

I’ve a number of issues with my teeth and gum— as a dentist once told me, I have pretty shitty dental architecture— not that the teeth are all crooked, but tightly place and problematic.

By my age [mid-40s] my father already had two bridges — actually he had them done in his mid-30s.

I’m interested in any general potential health bennies to my mouth, not just whiter teeth.

So far a soft tooth seems less problematic and the teeth generally seem ‘pearlier’— not simply whiter but pearlier.

How much of this is from the OP per se and how much form increased attention to oral hygiene over the last week is unclear— swishing around the mouth for 10-20 minutes will pull up a lot of crap regardless of the medium.

I’m using EVOO— many of the sites I’ve found recommend it as potentially less ‘problematic’ than sesame, including the site linked to in the OP [Original Post]

Yeah, I read up on it quite a bit too. I really can’t see any harm in trying it, let along the potential benefits. I’m going to keep it up for a while and see. Hope it helps for you too.

Sorry I jumped to conclusions. I thought you had typed up that whole thing, not copy and paste. The website must be selling something, or doing self-promotion. Sorry for the semi-personal attack, had a crappy night.

absolute 0, why do you feel everything about you is ugly? That’s a very negative look at things. As for the runway models, while not everyone is born with the face of a runway model, everyone can have a body like one, it just takes the work and self-discipline. I had a conversation with some friends just yesterday about it. The public wants a 6 pack, but they have to realize it takes dedication and hard work, and has to go on for your whole life, to be healthy and look that way.

You can do a lot of things to improve yourself, so don’t think everything about u is ugly. And if you think that way, at least realize you can control what you look like, and use your low self esteem as fuel to improve yourself.

Jelq, ADS, repeat.

Final Goal: 8EL x 6.2

Must...think...long...term.

If you think about it.. Again from a scientific point, sexy is a form of a provider and respect.

Women are not ONLY appreciating your body but the effort and time you put into it. (Subconsciously of course) The healthier and fit looking you are, the more likely you’ll be able to support her and not die. Talking from a prehistoric time. Now days, your just arm candy.

Sex, money, and jellybeans

I bought some sesame oil yesterday - cooking stuff - and man was it gross. I’ll have to go past my local Hare Krishna shop and see if they have any organic virgin sesame oil.

Edit: I now realize it must have been roasted sesame oil. I can still feel the taste of burnt bread in my mouth.

Man, I really don’t know. I have always been insecure my whole life and I really hate myself for being like that but lately I’m learning to accept the fact that everyone is just different in their own way. So I must deal with it or I’ll never be truly happy in this life. Anyway, thanks for the uplift. It will surely help me and I’ll follow your advice.

It’s something my parents told me when I was 16 to do but I did it until a year or so ago. Basically what you do is use pure sesame seed oil as a mouthwash every morning. The catch is you gotta do it a least 10-15minutes. Sounds tough but you really do get use to it. So what are the results?

Oil Pulling (“OP”) is reported to cure: Mouth & Gum Disease; Stiff Joints; Allergies; Asthma; High Blood Sugar; Constipation; Migraines; Bronchitis; Eczema; Heart, Kidney, Lung Diseases; Leukemia; Arthritis; Meningitis; Insomnia; Menopause (hormonal issues); Cancer; AIDS; Chronic Infections; Varicose Veins; High Blood Pressure; Diabetes; Polio; Cracked Heels.

Let me tell you what I’ve experienced. Within a month from doing this my teeth were strong and white as pearls! NO JOKE. Growing up I had a weak enamel so I could never eat anything cold, really sweet or high in acids. My teeth was in tip top condition after oil pulling. I went to my doctor and he told me he never seen anything like this. I also had great sleep and a lot of energy. My sinuses has never been so clear before. It also killed my bad breath.

Outside of all the health benefits the main reason I’m telling you this is of course a beauty factor. That is, IT TURNS YOUR TEETH WHITE AND IT SPARKLES!!

I had yellow teeth. I’m not talking about smoker’s yellow teeth but natural yellow tinted teeth. After doing this for a couple of weeks my teeth got 5-6 shades whiter no joke.

Fuck all that whitening shit that cost a fortune and kills your enamel. My cousin is a dentist and he told me that the professional whitening procedures are absolutely horrible for your teeth. The agent they use in whitening destroy any bit of enamel you have. Plus it cost a fortune. He charges about 329 dollars per session! (Averagely cost between 250-600 dollars) You can have sparkly white teeth with a bottle of sesame oil.

Here’s a link, if you’re interested and want to learn more.

If you’re just after whiter teeth an easier method I’ve found is to use Hydrogen Peroxide (h2o2) and swish it around your mouth a minute before brushing.. a week of this and you’ll see results, two weeks and they’ll be pearls.. there’s no need to use it everyday. It’s still dangerous, read below, don’t swallow:

Quote
# Large oral doses of hydrogen peroxide at a 3% concentration may cause “irritation and blistering to the mouth, (which is known as Black Hairy Tongue) throat, and abdomen”, as well as “abdominal pain, vomiting, and diarrhea”. [32]
# Hydrogen peroxide has a significant vapor pressure (1.2 kPa at 50 oC[CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, 76th Ed, 1995-1996]) and exposure to the vapor is potentially hazardous. Hydrogen peroxide vapor is a primary irritant, primarily affecting the eyes and respiratory system and the NIOSH Immediately dangerous to life and health limit (IDLH) is only 75 ppm. Documentation for Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health Concentrations (IDLH): NIOSH [http://www.cdc.gov/NIOSH/National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health Chemical Listing and Documentation of Revised IDLH Values (as of 3/1/95)]. Long term exposure to low ppm concentrations is also hazardous and can result in permanent lung damage and OSHAOccupational Safety and Health Administration has established a permissible exposure limit of 1.0 ppm calculated as an eight hour time weighted average (29 CFR 1910.1000, Table Z-1) and hydrogen peroxide has also been classified by the ACGIH American Conference of Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) as a “known animal carcinogen, with unknown relevance on humans.[2008 Threshold Limit Values for Chemical Substances and Physical Agents & Biological Exposure Indices, ACGIH] In applications where high concentrations of hydrogen peroxide are used, suitable personal protective equipment should be worn and it is prudent in situations where the vapor is likely to be generated, such as hydrogen peroxide gas or vapor sterilization, to ensure that there is adequate ventilation and the vapor concentration monitored with a continuous gas monitor for hydrogen peroxide. Continuous gas monitors for hydrogen peroxide are available from several suppliers. Further information on the hazards of hydrogen peroxide is available from OSHA Occupational Safety and Health Guideline for Hydrogen Peroxide and from the ATSDR. Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry

As for things other than whiter teeth, I haven’t read anyone having success from Oil Pulling.

Yea, it is the case for me as well, been doing OP 3 or 4 times now for the last week.
Maybe it gotten a little bit whiter but it best described as pearlier.

I hereby announce a scientific study with one subject participating:

Since I am getting a crown on one of my molars, my dentist took a color check - 3.5 was the verdict - of my teeth (using a standardised chart) to send to the dental technician. In two weeks, I’ll be back to have him install it, and I will then have him make another color check on my teeth. If they have whitened, we’ll see. And I can always go back again, since I have a fixed color value known before starting to OP with sesame oil (by the way, the virgin organic - unroasted - was perfectly OK to use).

Beware— OP may be contraindicated with dental hardware— read through the site linked to in the first post.
