Hair Loss

Well this morning I got every guy’s dream. Some junk mail that was selling herbs, - a breakthrough of course . Saying that guys (who are average at 6” could take these here pills and get 3” of gain in three months. Yes, folks I’m guaranteed 3” of gain.

Not only that If you (that’s me) take these (different) pills then your hair will grow just like it used to when you were young

And the scientific bit was there of course (strangely related to this thread) Because it seems my body is making too much DHT which attaches to the hair follicles, which reduces the width of the follicle and so you get less hair and thinner hair.

But there is a nagging question in my mind (air cooled with the lack of hair)

Why doesn’t the DHT attach itself to the hairs on my face and make my beard thinner? Or come to that bairs on chest (Not many) hairs under arm (Same again) hair around dick (Plenty there if allowed to grow). And naturally, balls get a good covering. Surely I should be as bald there?

Anyway I’ll leave it to others to put me right on the matter.

A Money back guarantee of course.

I’m gona have to disagree, I’ve been using rogain for the last yr or so on the front of my scalp with great success, my scalp has stop balding & I’ve seeing hair grow back, there is a few problems though the hair that is grown isn’t as long as the other hair I have so it kind of looks odd if I don’t cut my hair in a certain style, just be careful when applying the regain, don’t apply it to parts of your head that don’t need it.

The stem cell research sounds awsome, any chance you have some links? I wouldn’t mind forking out some dollers for that, I’ve considered laser treatment but 4k for something that isn’t 100% kind of scares me

Below is an interesting view about the side effects of propecia. It is an excerpt from a longer article: http://hairloss help.com/html/P … cia5yrstudy.cfm

Dr Richard Lee:
"I have never agreed with Merck’s report of the incidence of side effects due to initial Propecia use. My experience with finasteride is that the percentage of patients with side effects of decreased libido, erectile dysfunction and/or ejaculatory disorder is approximately 5 or 6 times higher than the 3.8% that Merck reports. Initially, Merck claimed that the incidence of side effects was less than 2%. Since assessing ‘decreased libido’ is of such a subjective nature, I have repeatedly asked for a copy of Merck’s original clinical trials. On each occasion, I’ve been denied a copy of that study. It is not surprising that the incidence of side effects declined dramatically in the fifth year of use. Patients who did have sexual side effects simply wouldn’t tolerate those side effects for five years. With this in mind, the report of 0.6% of Propecia users having sexual side effects after five years of use sounds incorrect and misleading."

"I will continue to recommend and prescribe Propecia, because I think that Propecia is a safe and effective treatment for MPB."

Another interesting view is that the study is dated March 15 2001!

So, what is your point?

The point is that the study could well be out of date . Since there could be changes to the formula which might make it more effective. Or perhaps there have been some adverse reactions.

Many drugs have been tested, found to be useful and then caused problems which escaped the original study findings. So it might be worth researching the subject to see if there are any updates. Or indeed, other studies which contradict the claims made in that particular study

(Sorry for the delay in replying Life is a bit hectic)

I wonder if it is ok (legal) to change the formula of a drug that has been approved and on the market. If they did change it, I guess they would say that in the advertisements. “Now with less side-effects” or something :)

I am not against propecia. But maybe the side-effects are more common than advertised.

Hey everyone..

Just thought I would let people know that are looking at offering for public consumption if enough people agree to purchase it. I for one am very excited about the prospect of (removed) in treating hair loss as it seems like a very positive step forward in comparison with (removed) etc..

Just thought I would get the info out ;)

Link removed. We are not in the business of advertising

In the end I took the plunge and shaved it all off it was the best thing I ever did.good luck if you try the chemicals.. But if people like elton john and other ultra rich are bald what chance do we have

Yes but Elton has a full head of transplanted hair. When you factor in that he probably went to the top transplant specialist in the entire world, I would estimate he has million dollar hair.

I guess if you have the money.

9/2008 Bpel 7.00, Beg 5.5, Mseg 5.1

This looks like a blatant piece of advertising to me. Stuff like that has no place this forum.

This is not an attempt at advertising.. I have no affiliation with elitenetpharmacy and in fact only found out about them through webslave and the Viagra/Cialis forums.

I was just trying to highlight the possibility that this company is prepared to manufacture a product that shows similar results to those seen by Propecia but has shown none of the side effects (such as loss of sexual function and desire) and in my opinion it is well worth looking at.

Your intention may not have been to advertise it. But the way you worded your post gives the impression you have posted the advertisement to invite people to take advantage of the offer which would enable you to benefit from it; as there is a condition attached to the advert. Also you were making claims for the product, although you had not tried it.

In such circumstances It would probably be OK if you simply mentioned the advert giving a link. And invited comments from people who had knowledge of the product, and/or had actually used it.

If someone had purchased the product following your post, and then had a reaction or became ill. Thunders’ might possibly be cited as contributing to it.
