Extremely Sensitive

I can shave my testicles with no problem. But, I can only trim above my penis and below my balls. If I try to shave them it’s extremely uncomfortable a day or 2 later. I get ingrown hairs, severe redness, and really itchy. I’ve tried extra sensitive shaving cream, conditioner, non-fragrance lotions, baby powder, different razors, and pretty much everything imaginable over the years. I’ve gone commando on days off and that’s the only thing that has worked. Any type of clothing irritates the hairs growing back.

Has anyone else overcame this issue? If so, what worked for you?

I just use hair clippers to avoid all of that. Could still use penomet hydropump without any problems.

I use clippers now. I don’t like to go completely smooth. My main area I like to shave is below the belly button and just above where I like to have my hair start. It’s the area where the waist of my pants sit. I’d like to be able to shave that area, but it kills me.

Sounds like your skin is very soft? Use the clippers on the shortest setting, and clipper it every day so you have like a very short “stubble”.

After a few weeks the skin should be tougher and you can do a shave every 2nd or 3rd day, still clippering on any non-shave day. Also keeping that skin more dry will help, you can use talcum powder twice a day on it.

Ans don’t shave it when moist, hot etc like after a shower, shave it as dry as possible, just with cream from a tin etc.

I use an electric hair trimmer cutter with no exentsion plates. It leaves about a millimeter of hair that wont get ingrown. It’s also less irritating.

Hair clippers and electric hair trimmers around your penis! If I use either of those I would be a bloody mess.

I use my trimmer on everything but my shaft. I use a razor with some JBCO so I don’t cut myself. When I’m done then a little more JBCO to ensure everything feels right. Unfortunately, I have to do this everyday because the hair grows fast.
