A hairy situation

A hairy situation

Hey guys. I have a very bad insecurity that has plagued my life from age 15. I’m very hairy. I have hairy arms, legs, chest, stomach, and butt crack. The only places I don’t have hair is my back shoulders and butt cheeks. I really hate having all this hair and I need some advice from you guys on what to do. My GF waxed my stomach the other day and it hurt like a bitch and on top of that the hairs that were not even plucked remained and the other ones that were merely broken started growing back quickly. What should I do? Wax everything? Trim? Laser? Maybe some of you have learned to love your bodies but I’m not sure if I can do that on my own. This insecurity has stopped me from taking my shirt off at gatherings + pool outings and has even prevented me from fucking because I’m very insecure about it. I know girls dislike hair because they constantly have to remove it from their own bodies and it translates into hating hair on anybody. Whatever enough ranting.. Advice?

Learn to except it, I mean with all that hair your choices are limited. I have a buddy who looks like he’s wearing a gorilla suit and sometimes his girlfriend shaves his chest and back but I couldn’t imagine doing that all the time.

I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work. Thomas Edison (1847-1931)

Yeah Dino that’s exactly the predicament I’m in. I do not want to shave/wax it all the time yet I don’t want so much of it. Laser is too expensive and not guaranteed so I don’t know about that path. I think SOME hair is totally attractive on a guy but I just think my hairs are too long and too many.

If your head is equally hairy then you’re lucky. Quit complaining! :)

I’d consult with a dermatologist about it. You might be a candidate for the newer lasers. The last generation of lasers are only effective on certain skin types, but I’ve heard the newer versions have a much broader scope.

Consider yourself lucky. Most white guys (I seem to recall you’re Caucasian?) develop pretty hairy chests and bellies by their 20s — the only variable is how much nasty back and shoulder hair they eventually sprout! :D Hopefully you’ll stay relatively smooth in those areas.

What sort of build are you? In my opinion, scrawny or fat guys’ bodies look silly if hairless, so in those cases, the hair is a blessing. And for muscular/ripped men, any style typically looks good: hairy, trimmed short with beard clippers, or shaved/waxed.

Apparently, chest hair is back in style: http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-…-of-chest-hair/

Oh, you mentioned butt-crack hair. Although nearly universal, I would agree that this is rather nasty and un-hygienic. I have found that it is easy to shave the ass crack with a normal safety razor and some soap in the shower. It might take you a few tries to get good at it, but a once-a-week ass-shaving habit will help keep you clean there.

How hairy are you exactly, be more specific? You may need to get a cheap pair of clippers from walgreens or cvs and just trim a couple times a week.

Perception is reality.

Stay away from razors, because they give you rashes and ingrown hairs. Stick to the clippers without a guard.

Thanks to Mr T for that comment beause ingrown hairs are often considered to be the cause of pilonoidal cysts whih if you do have one, it is quite painful and can be a bit of a wound management issue.

I’ve had one and have so much knowledge know about them, so if anyone else has or develops pilonoidas feel freel to call me, so I can share some of my resources and accumulated research materials.

Had to look that one up, Fantom. Thanks for the warning

I’ve never had a problem with ingrowns in the ass-crack, but those cysts are enough to make me reconsider shaving…

Girls do dislike hair on their body because it makes them look less feminine.

If you really want to attract a girl you have to look more masculine. Whats more masculine than a hairy chest?

Think about it, if a girl was fat and ugly with a moustache and goatee would you be attracted to her? You wouldn’t right because she looks like a dude.

Then how can a girl be attracted to a guy, who has no hair and looks like a girl?

Just accept it man, and make the most of it ae.

If you have to, remind yourself in your head when you take off your shirt, that chicks dig my hairy chest.

I got a hairy chest, back, ass and legs. I got hair every where.

Starting Stats: 27/10/2008 - BPEL: 5.9' BFSL: 6.1' EG: 5' (I think); Goal: BPEL: 7.9' EG: 6.5'; I want to reach my goal by October 2009. My focus is on lenght at this time.

I trim my stomach and chest hair in the summer with a normal pair of scissors. Lots of women are attracted to chest hair but don’t want monkey-men so it’s nothing that a little bit of trimming can’t solve.

Does anybody have any advice for self back waxing?!

Luckily my chest, torso and legs are average hair wise. I do have random hair on my shoulders, back, triceps and a patch of hair at the small of my back.

For several years I’ve used Nair for Men and found it to me very effective. I also started using it on my arm pit hair cause I got tired of trimming.

For butt hair my wife is nice enough to trim it and for pubic hair I use these and love them:
