Black MACA is the best for men. Take by body weight but it looks like you are taking about half of what you should be. The MACA Team has some of the best MACA I think

A 180 lbs. Man can start at 9 grams a day, 5 days on 2 days off. They give you guide lines with your order. Start where you were 5 or 6 grams and see how it goes. You can split the dose, morning and afternoon but take the last dose before 2 in the afternoon at first to see how it affects you, if taken later it could keep you up at night. It hasn’t affected me that way but it could have an affect on your sleep so be cautious as with any of these supplements

That seems like a LOT! Men can take 9000mg?? I googled it and a gram is 1000mg. Am I missing something?

You work up to those doses.. Don’t start with 9g if unaccustomed to the effects of Maca. I’ve been a user for more than a year, using different types.

I’m 135 lbs and have found my ideal dose to be 7.5g, so 9g is not that much. You can pretty much take 10g easily if you work up to it, but that to me seems pointless unless you’re 200lbs or over. I recommend cycling off the stuff 2:1 (2 on 1 off)

My Maca Root Experience

9-10g of any adaptogen seems excessive unless your in excess of 200lbs and use every bit of it daily. I tend to get the baseline benefits (better mood, endurance, etc) with around 1.2-2g daily and that can be at once or throughout the day. I’m only about 165lbs or so myself so I’m in between the OP and some of the moderators but were those amounts of Maca used just during your PE journey or was that already a part of your life? In either case did it translate into more gains? Do you cycle or stack other adaptogens as well? Interested to learn and share what I have as well.

I take all three together in a Maca I got on Amazon, its good!

Maca powder, good stuff, I probably don’t even take a gram, when I have accidentally taken more than I intended I sure as heck know about it and it can keep me awake and cause anxiety like a v strong caffeine dose
