I am taking several supplements to compliment my PE regime but I am having issues regarding when to take them. So far I am taking Zinc, Grape Seed, Glucosamine, Tribulus Terrestris, Hawthorn Berry and L-Arginine, I do plan to add a few more into the mix but my question relates to when should I take them. I personally by individual supplements as opposed to multivitamins, reason being I have more control of individual doses, I originally started taking them all at once in the morning with breakfast but I found that tends to send on some kind of “Vitamin Trip” and I end up all dopey for a few hours afterwards.

So I am wondering if anyone else here takes similar supplements and if so when do you take them and do you stagger each one or just drop them all at once? I have taken each one separately at some time or another in the past and have never had any kind of strange reactions individually but all together is a different story (not entirely unpleasant though).

I think he means competition for absorption. Many aminos should be taken on an empty stomach for better absorption. On that note, I know zinc and calcium are not absorbable together, so take our zinc on an empty stomach , and don’t wash it down with milk or take with a calcium supplement, as the zinc will not be readily up-taken.

Wow, thanks for that information. So I should take L-Arginine alone and Zinc alone, Glucosamine is and Amino Sugar so should that one be taken alone to? I am guessing that when it comes down to it I would be better off separating all my supplements over the course of the day and arranging them so as to minimize any inefficiencies due to conflict, kind of like my family at Christmas.

I’d take the trib and zinc at night. I’d also add some magnesium in there too. Zinc and magnesium work well together to improve testosterone levels and provide deep sleep. Magnesium citrate is a good, cheap form.

A good rule of thumb is to take your vitamins during the day and minerals at night. Never mix zinc and calcium, they will compete for absorption and the calcium will always win, ie, no zinc will be absorbed by your body.

I like to take my homemade ZMA (zinc, magnesium, b6) an hour before bed, then have my milk/egg/whey/lecithin protein shake half an hour before bed. That way I can still go to bed with a stomach full of protein and calcium, but the zinc would have had half an hour to absorb beforehand so get the best of both worlds.

Don’t overlook NECESSARY cofactors when picking up a supplement. Most people overlook that quite easily.

I did alot of reading on L-arginine and discovered that it is somewhat fragile. When I say fragile, what I mean is that it gets antagonized by other amino acids very easily. It should be taken separately from all other supplements. I read that it works best 30 min before bedtime. I’ll try to put up a link from a reliable site soon

First thing in the morning I usually just have a big glass of tea with honey:)

I take 1000 mg vitamin C,30 mg Zinc.

Two to three of those Giant Eagle brand Daily vitamin pills,You know the little red ones that have the B complex in’em?

And along with that 3,000 G of L Arginine.

Then I wait some time and eat breakfast.

After about two hours after that I have more of everything except Zinc and maybe just 2 G’s of L Arg;)

Then after I eat again I take everything else including more Zinc.

Adding up the totals I take about 7-9 Grams of L Arg,60 Grams of zinc,3,000 Grams of C and 7 of the red vitamin pills.

Now I just started doing this about a week ago because my cum loads were almost non existent and I decided to try L Arg again…

If I wait all day without masturbating I make two big shots and a nice big dribble every time:D
