Viagra did nothing

Can anyone explain why it didnt work for me? I’m only 20 and I’ve been with my gf for 6 years and seeing the same parts for 6 yrs your erection quality isnt as good as it is in the beginning.atleast for me because we don’t have a lot of foreplay. Anyways I asked my coworker for a V so I could try it, I took half about an hr before we had sex and it did nothing for me. Any ideas?

Viagra has no effect on your brain and mind (other than placebo), however, it might be possible that it had no effect on your penis, but that`s unlikely. I don’t know, try other stuff. Maybe your testosterone levels are low. How`s your libido?

I’m not sure you gave it enough time to take effect; 30 minutes before doing the business is cutting it a bit fine.

Viagra has about an 8 hour half life and I would think you would need to wait an hour or so before the full effect kicks in. Remember though that it effects only the blood flow to your dick (it also gives me a thumping head but that’s another story) and will not effect the way you are thinking about sex; in other words you don’t automatically get aroused. If you are aroused the V should give you a nice solid consistent boner.

Cialis is a good alternative to Viagra especially as it lasts much longer (about 36 hours) and I have found it to have little or no side-effects.

If all else fails see your doctor and find get some tests. Most ED issues can be fixed easily these days if you are otherwise young and healthy.

Viagra is not an aphrodisiac - aphrodisiacs raise your libido , make you more horny ; Viagra affects only your penis , so if you are thinking ” oh man I’m so bored but I wanna fuck , but the same thing again and again , but oh well the Viagra will kick in any time now so I will get a boner” - you are wrong.

Was it a 25mg tablet? If it was then taking half of that would be lower than the lowest dose licensed to have an effect, but drugs work slightly differently for everybody and in your case your body might have excreted all the V you took before it could have any effect. Or it could be fake V.where did your mate get it from? It’s a prescription drug anyway so just be glad it didn’t harm you in any way.

Also you said you don’t do much foreplay? What a shame :) Try more foreplay and don’t think about getting an erection. It’s easier to get one when you’re not constantly reminding yourself ‘must get hard.why isn’t it hard yet.for fucks sake where’s the stiffy.’ You get the idea!

The half life of Viagra is just a tad over 4 hours. This means that after 4 hours, half your dose is still working for you.

Maybe it was a generic look alike rip off sugar pill. There are lots of those out there.

Need more info on just what, how much, you took. It should’ve helped in some way.

There is significant medical study evidence that some young men without erectile dysfunction get no lift at all from the PDE5 drugs (V, C, and L).

Whatever, except for a lucky - or unlucky 5 percent or so of users, depending on your point of view - the Viagra erection will not occur without sexual stimulation. And it is quite possible that a high anxiety level at the time, with all that adrenalin pumping, could overcome any erectile response that might have been there when you started out to have sex.

It was 100mg pill so I took 50mg on an empty stomach 2 hours after I woke up

Er.. isn’t viagra a vasodilator?

Viagra doesn’t do anything for me either - except give me weird blurry vision. I don’t think it helps my erections. Cialis (tadalifil) works much much better when needed, but unfortunately takes longer to hit my system. I feel the effects most strongly the next day.

Just goes to show,,,,different effects on different folks. Viagra used to make my face flushed,,,the first several times I used it. Maybe a headache at times. Cialis,,,?? .. I can tell it helps but not overly as much as Viagra does.

My two cents. Viagra doesn’t work on me period. Caverject is the one.
