TRIBESTAN questions...

TRIBESTAN questions...

Hey all, I’ve been using Tribestan for a few months now and all I can say is WOW!!! What a difference it makes. My loads are much fuller even though they are thinner. So here is the question for those of you who are taking/ have taken Tribestan. What was your intake per day? Shoud I be cycling it? One month on, one moonth off? Continuously take it like a vitamin everyday? I’ve been real impressed so far but I don’t want to compromise my long term health.

Anyone?

I use, and seems safe.

Anyway, like for all supplements,

I think a cicle with some days off

is always a good thing…

How many pills per day are you taking? I’m taking one in the morning…someone had told me to take one in the morning, afternoon, and just before bed but I didn’t see any measurable increase when I did that. I just went through my supply faster.

Several guys at bodybuilding dot com have said they never saw any difference with Tribestan unless they took 6 pills a day. So give that a shot, and of course that’s really expensive.

HOLY…..6 pills a day? That’s gotta be wrong. I know that one or two does wonders but 6….that’s a bit much.

I tried Tribestan when it first came out and all it did was thin out my wallet. The cost /benefit ratio is just too high.

In my experience, Yohimbe is cheap and will help your load volume.

Clomid is a bit more expensive, but it will increase your ejaculate volume dramatically. It also raises T levels.

Don’t forget water, regular PE and intense weight training workouts.

I’m very skeptical that Clomid will do much for load size. I took Nolvadex (basically the same thing) for a few months and nothing changed.

Both Clomid and Nolvadex (tamoxifen) are selective estrogen receptor modulators. Any increase in testosterone comes about from the drugs reducing the estrogen feedback to the hypothalamus. The brain sees estrogen as being low, estrogen level being one of the feedback mechanisms for testosterone production, and LH and FSH secretion increases in response.

However, this doesn’t necessarily result in a higher level of free T. Results vary tremendously in the abstracts I’ve read. Some show increases of T; others don’t.

According to the most knowledgeable guys on bodybuilding groups/forums, tribulus terrestris doesn’t live up to the hype of those who are selling it.

If it helped you, great, but that probably isn’t the norm. It’s like the damiana that greatly increased the size of one guy’s balls (search for the thread here). Others tried it and didn’t get the same result. Another guy at PE Forums had increased load size from taking maca. RB and I both tried it (I used the exact same brand), with no effect.

Hobby,

About 4 years ago I had my blood work done before and after taking Clomid for 4 weeks. I can’t remember the actual values, but my FSH and T levels were much higher after taking the Clomid. What I don’t know is how long they remained elevated.

I do agree with you that increased T levels from taking Clomid are probably highly individualized.

I didn’t have the $ to have my levels tested. :(

One thing to watch for is the rebound effect. Estrogen actually increases with Clomid/Nolvadex, even though its effects are blocked in most tissues. When you stop taking it, E is still elevated but no longer blocked. This can cause testosterone to temporarily go down, and allow E to wreak its havoc on the prostate, tits, etc. until your system stabilizes.

Good point.

Do you think this would happen if one was taking arimidex when the Clomid/Novadex is discontinued?

No, because Arimidex lowers estrogen.

Just be careful not to lower E too much. The SERM’s such as Nolvadex allow estrogen to do it’s good in bone and several other tissues. Depending on the dose, Arimidex and similar drugs can knock estrogen down to almost zero, which isn’t healthy.

how does estrogen effect the prostate?

Is tribestan any better than other tribulas products like San tribulas?
