Would just like to bump this thread as i recently found out that cocoa positively affects me.
I only get morning wood 1 or 2 times a week if I’m lucky, and I’m only 28. I take l citrulline daily and find that helps the ease or getting erections.
Anyway, my mum recently told me that my 4 year old son loves dark chocolate and in fact prefers it to the normal. So one day on my lunch break i thought id grab a bar, it had 75% it said on it.
I ate my lunch and the bar was just looking at me so i thought id just try a little(i don’t normally eat ANY chocolate bars). I had about 50grams.
The next morning i was awoken at around 3am which is very unusual, it seemed like my penis was so incredibly raging that i couldn’t sleep. I didn’t see it as it was dark but it was so hard it was bothering me.
This continued until i properly woke up at 5.50am with another juicy wood.

Alllll day i was puzzled as to what had changed, because i never get wood like that. Then i suddenly wondered. So that day i nought another bar and did the same and again i had big morning wood.
This has been the 3rd day now and it seem that dark chocolate for some reason does something to me to cause this amazing thing, seeing morning wood and feeling it is a real feel good thing for me and I’m so overjoyed by it!
I’ve been trying to research what EXACTLY dark chocolate does to the body to try find out why it affects me so much. I have high cholesterol despite not taking statins and i believe dark chocolate helps raise good cholesterol or lower the bad?

I contacted CocoaVia for more information about the contents of their supplement, and they claim it is not contain large amounts of arginine or magnesium. See below

CocoaVia® is not an arginine-based supplement, and therefore, does not contain an appreciable arginine content. L-arginine is an amino acid that serves as a precursor to the formation of nitric oxide in the body and while CocoaVia® does not contain arginine, the Cocoa Flavanols in each serving of CocoaVia® work by helping support the body’s pool of nitric oxide (NO), a molecule that is naturally produced by your body.

CocoaVia® Cocoa Extract supplement contains ~20 mg of magnesium per serving. Given this low level of magnesium in the product, it is not an appreciable source of magnesium and is not a suitable replacement for such a supplement.

Currently it is on sale at Amazon.com, $18 for 60 capsules, which is cheaper than even buying in bulk on the cocoavia website.

Examine. Com also thinks the cocoa helps with blood flow

I am giving it a try.

Besides cocoa and arginine(citrulline is supposedly better), I found 2 other supplements worth looking into if you want to increase blood flow - pomegranate and SOD, see below.

I haven’t spent a ton of time researching the best pomegranate, but neocell looks the best to me
