Protein and gains

guarana is not a protein. It is simply similar to caffene

My thought is same as j123.

More exercise = better health = helping stronger manhood.

Of course there’s many things that enhance each step. Such as good diet is VERY important not only to PE, but building muscles as well.

Also many people forget that you need to REST enough for muscle to build muscles.

I also wanted to give thanks to all the great members here.. Just noticed I gained .5” after two months . Woohoo

Tuna is BY FAR the cheapest. Probably the best.

I lost a lot of weight just eating tuna, instead of the shakes.

I do use a lot of shakes. (actually we used to compete with GNC - whatever you do don’t by from GNC - you can almost always find it cheaper anywhere else. Usually you can get 10 - 20% less than the “gold card” price)
Bioplex, PVL, Biox, etc are all good. EAS is very good, but very expensive.

Weighing 220 I try to get 220g of protein a day, but it ends up closer to 150.

Tuna and Chicken Breast should be first choices, shakes second. Just avoid getting your protein from too much Red Meat (too many steroids, estrogens, etc).

- GREAT THREAD BTW.

Well the whole 1g of protein/lb of body weight refers to lean muscle mass. Someone may weigh 200lbs but their lean muscle may be 170lbs so thats why you shoot for but if you have no idea what your bf% is then try to get really close to your body weight.

"Don’t buy from GNC” .. Is that because their product is overpriced, or their product is sub-par?

Reason I’m asking is because I use Argin-max from GNC instead of $$$ PE pills such as VIgRX etc.

I think that a diet high in protein is beneficial in NPE. When you exercise the penis you are breaking down cells in the penis and cells are made of protein. So a high protein intake will aid in faster healing and it will be easier to avoid overtraining, which I think is a common problem for many PE’ers.

Protein is very important in the growth of your muscles and your penis as well. I am an avid bodybuilder and power lifter. I can say that protein and a mixture of an “NO” product can greatly increase your gains! Protein and NO have a hormonal effect too. The best NO product for your money would have to be NITRIX from BSN. This product containes 1000mg of L-Arginine Alpha Keto-Glutarate (AAKG) along with L-Citrulline and other delivery supplaments. This Arginine is the fastest way to get into your blood stream. The NO also synthesizes protein! I bought mine for $32.00 at a discount store compared to GNC’s $69.99 tag price for a 180 caps. I would recommend GNC’s 100% Whey protein though. 6lbs of protein for $27.99 not bad, and will last you up to 2 1/2 to 3 months. Hope I helped you all.

The key ingredient in NO products is L-Argenine which you can buy by itself for alot cheaper. Whey protein is good but I suggest using it with a Casein protein as well especially if you workout. Casein digests alot slower than way therefore has more of a “time released” effect on your body releasing amino acids into the bloodstream for a longer period of time unlike whey which is completely digested and gone within 60-90 minutes after it’s ingested.

It all depends. After your workout, whey is by far much more beneficial. First thing in the morning casein is good because like you said, it time releases over the day.

True. Casein is best used in the morning and right before bed. Best in the night so your muscles are not catibolized.

I’m a carnivore as well, I just don’t enjoy eating vegetables, never have and never will. One of the last dinner dates I went on, dated a vegetarian and didn’t realize it until I had ordered the biggest steak prepared rare at the restaurant. It wasn’t one of those things where she was on my case for killing animals or anything that drastic, but she was just grossed out by the amount of blood on the plate. This steak was one of those hungry man deals, probably enough beef for three or four meals in terms of the portion size that’s thrown out as the normal dietary supplement for a single meal. While eating, I recall her saying she could never eat even a portion of what was on the plate. I must’ve enjoyed it enough to break her down, by the end of the meal she wanted a small portion to try. It was actually quite funny in the approach, she ordered eggplant and asked me if I wanted to try it. I told her that probably as much as she was repulsed by the steak, eggplant nauseates me far more. Since she had exposed herself as a vegetarian, I commented that out of courteousy that she was welcome to try the steak, I was surprised at how fast she jumped at the opportunity for a sample. I normally prefer the shellfish and seafood, but on occasion, beef, chicken and pork is tastey. Chicken used to be inexpensive, I have an addiction for Buffalo Wings, but it’s even more expensive these days. I love those pork picnic shoulders too. Slice it into steaks and cook them like a meaty country style rib with bar-b-q sauce.

At any rate, yeah, the protein does help heal muscle, not sure what it does for a penis though. As for weight lifting, I remember from earlier days, in some cases, it’s not the size of the muscle, it’s the quality of the muscle, meaning conditioning is key to being able to sustain a longer workout, before fatigue and muscle failure occurs. I worked out with people who could do slightly more (others couldn’t keep pace early) early in the workout at certain exercises, but they faded in terms of being able to finish the other exercises and by then they were lifting far less in other types of exercises.

Right, you want the protein absorbed quickly as possible after a nice workout but the rest of the day slow release is best and before bed.

So did high protein help, any updates here?

It would deffinately help! Comsume some BEFORE your workouts, so that by the time you have finished, you have nearly finished digesting, and so it is nearly ready to enter the bloodstream… The same goes for weight lifting.

But rember your body cannot absorb more than 30g in the space of 3 hours, so taking any more than that at one sitting is pointless.
