Does anybody experienced these problems ? Are they going away? Cause it is very annoying. Any ideas how I can get rid of it?
Thank you guys.

Hi there.
I have the same symptoms as well as many others after being on this drug. The best thing you can do right now is visit Persistent Side Effects Info & Discussion Forum - propeciahelp.com and do some serious read up. I’d recommend you registry over there and tell your complete story. You’ll have to visit your doctor and order blood work of specific hormones in due time.
We have very talented and gifted doctors worldwide on our side regarding this issue so I hope it’s just a matter of time before we make a total recovery.
Believe me, there’s many, many people with this problem after quitting finasteride.

If you want to know more you can PM me.

Regards and best of luck.

This is a marathon worth running!!

chainz 8,

How long have you been on this regimen? I’m using just Nizoral right now 3 days a week (MWF) and I leave in for about 3 minutes each time before rinsing out of the scalp. I also take a good hair, skin, and nail multivitamin, along with extra biotin, and some fish oils.

Just Nizoral isn’t enough you need to hit it with something else also. The Genhair I have been using seems to help but it’s not cheap but I guess the good things never are.

The Rogaine foam works fairly well on the crown. But it does nothing for the hairline. In my case anyway. I’ve been using this regimen for about two years now by the way.

I know Dino, just not sure what direction I want to go at this point. Thanks for your input though. Gonna figure something out soon. Wish I could win the lottery and then just go get a some good FUE/BHT work done by a good HT doctor. I’ve done my research, if only I had the funds.

I’m hoping I get some good results from the topical stuff it did seem to work for me last time, the 15% minoxidil worked well also I may have to get some of that also but not until after Christmas, hopefully a well paying side job will come along and pay for my extravagant hair habits I feel like a chick when it comes to hair:) .

So far this stuff from Genhair has been working well and my hair has been slowly getting thicker again. I’m very happy with everything but the price but it does last a long time. I’m still happy to be off Propecia

Dino, any update on your hair? Is the stuff from Genhair still working for you?

Yes very much so, excellent stuff I have to order more soon. Really has thickened up on it.

Does anyone here find value in the gentler topical applications like Revivogen?

I have not lost any hair yet, but given that some of the herbs i am taking over the last 7 months are lightly boosting T levels, and may possibly boost DHT levels (even though i am taking many herbs to prevent T->DHT conversion), I am looking to take further steps to prevent any of this happening, especially if i try a run of Tribestan, I will want the most prevention I can have to keep my head of hair full and thick.

I know about Spiro, Rogain/Minox, but are any of the milder topical applications effective in anyone’s experience?

Current size: BPEL: 7.9" EG: 6.75"

Realistic goal: BPEL: 9.25" EG: 7.5"

Unrealistic surgical goal: 12" x 8.5" :)

Great! I’m going to give it a try. I have been using emu oil for the past few months, along with Rogaine foam and seeing some decent results on the crown. Nothing in the front hair line though.

Revivogen worked great for me a while back and I had amazing results, but this time it didn’t work well at all and irritated my scalp. This is the stuff that is working for me

# MINOXIDIL 5% + GREEN TEA, AZELAIC ACID, FINASTERIDE, FLUTAMIDE $138 it cost about 30 bucks more than Revivogen but works well so far.

Hey Dino,

How many times a day are you applying this stuff and how much are you applying?

"Look what your brother did to the door!"

"After the news story on Swedish Television about the drug Propecia, the Swedish Medical Products Agency issued an investigation into Propecia that led to the manufacturer Merck Sharp & Dohme being forced to change the side effect list, so that it now clearly states this product can induce permanent side effect."

Once a day before bed and it’s not greasy at all, it’s in a spray bottle and four to five sprays will do. I have to order again soon.

These ‘medicines’ fuck with your hormones. In his case DHT-testosterone. Everyone always acts like it is the bad nasty brother of regular testosterone has no real purpose but that is untrue. Id rather just stick to my minoxidil
