NO2 Arginine for shooting further

Before Vanadyl is written off though I have read in places that it too can allow for stronger muscle contractions and muscle pumps obviously what effect that has on the PC muscle we don’t know as yet. However I also agree that I think the Citrulline has the effect.

One of the interesting things I read about Cirtulline is that it is a powerful No2 precursor which is essentially the same as Arginine. HOWEVER arginine is almost always metabolised by the liver so very little gets into the bloodstream, whereas Citrulline is not metabolised in the liver so a large percentage gets into the bloodstream where it then has similar effects to arginine.

The other interesting point is that the half life of arginine is only an hour or so, and then it’s effects fade away, citrulline has a much longer half life so it may still exert it’s effects long after you have taken it.

I ordered it from some online supplement house. It seemed pretty east to obtain. I’ll give it a shot! < (Literally I hope!) I’ve never been a big shooter, though I have at times. It seems when I do there is no ryhme nor reason. If I do a reverse kegel and time it correctly, I can get a foot or so. Getting some more distance would be awesum as the wife loves to get glazed!

Aloha from a newbie. As this is only my second post, please be patient with me. I’ll try to add the info I feel useful here..

I first started using NO2 as a weight-lifting supplement. I can’t say enough positive things about the results I got from it in the gym. But there was a prominent side effect I noticed: my hard ons were half again as intense as I have ever experienced before. My unit was uber stiff, and the extra blood getting there seemed to add a noticeable amount of size. It also affected my performance in the sack (though a bit of psychological bolster may have been at play, and in a cyclical manner—I.e. I was an animal in the gym, I was an animal at home, boosting confidence, boosting performance.you get the picture). Until I found this site this week, I thought either it was a unique side effect (not the no.1 topic in the gym.), or that it was a result of boosted testosterone coming from other supplements and my considerable gains in strength and muscle mass. Unfortunately, as I am new to the PE, I didn’t have a “before NO2” measurement to use as a baseline. Also, I never noticed if the volume of my loads or the distance they traveled changed. This isn’t to say they didn’t, I just didn’t notice. There has been only one side-effect I have noticed: it will dehydrate you to the point of misery. If you don’t get enough water while on the stuff, your head will pound and you’ll feel like you have a wicked hangover. Moreover, taking it with creatine amplifies this effect. Bottom line: though somewhat pricey, I say NO2 is worth it’s weight in gold for gains in the gym, in the sack, and in the shorts.

Though I know this is a novel, I hope you all find this post as informative as I have found many of yours. And, please, suggestions are always welcomed!

From personal experience i used a SYNTRAX product with "Nitrous Malate" (Di-L-Arginine)-L-Malate, with lifting weights, and the pump and muscle swelling was unbeliveable, this was no placebo effect, still it was VERY overpriced. I actually bought it for PE but never got around to it (working too much).

I like the site, but don’t blindly follow everything they say. Barr is actually my least favorite writer. I figured it would stir something up, at least a nice discussion about it.

I do take surge, but post workout, I don’t know if it would increase my pump if I took it during. But I will say I always feel the need to rub one out like 45 mins to an hour after working out.

Very interesting article, indeed. Though I have heard some negative press on NO2, I can probably dig up a few current articles slamming creatine. In the end, all I can say is that for whatever reason I noticed some great gains in the gym while eating the stuff. Shortly thereafter, I noticed the other, ahem, benefits as well. Now, could the placebo effect have a hand in this? Absolutely. Could the other benefits be attributable to the gains in the gym, boosted T levels, and increased blood flow from muscle development? Certainly. I’m just saying that I have seen some great changes while taking the stuff. I don’t care where they came from, but I’ll take ‘em. I hope that you all find this helpful.

Hi I’m new to this forum but not new at all to PE or supplaments for building muscle and helping with PE. I can tell you that L-arginine does increase load volume and distance. I have been taking a “NO” supplaments for a good time now and can tell you that the best choice for L-arginine is NITRIX by BSN. There is 1000mg in each pill. Don’t buy this at GNC as it will be costly to your wallet, try to find a discount store or buy it on the net.

The least amount of L-arginine per serving should be 3000mg for the best results. Keep your glutamine intake to less than 10grams, and don’t use it on a full stomach, take it 30min before a meal or 2hours after a meal. If you take the supp on a full stomach or more than 10 grams of glutamine the arginine will have no effect. Hope this helps

Oral Glutamine’s a scam, it was debunked a while ago, if i can find the study i’ll post it, I think basically it just converts to glucose in the liver and the original study that showed its effectiveness was done via IV, this is why the supplement companys have been coming out with glutamine peptides now, I just thought i’d point that out. Creatine on the other hand is well and truly effective.

So how did the citrulline malate work for you guys?
