L-Arginine

HA HA this isn’t an old thread at all, so don’t worry about that.

TwinLabs is a good company. What else is in it besides L-Arginine?

If you just want L-Arginine, I get that from this supplement company by the lb:

http://www.true protein.com/Pro … cid=25&pid=6940

It is good quality, 454g for 16.00.

So if you were to take 3g a day, that would last you for about 151 days.

Do you have to cycle AAKG or would it always have an effect over long term use?

I take 10-15g on an empty stomach right before bedtime every night. I’m not sure whether or not it has increased my EQ, it probably has. I’m taking it for increased muscle power gains.

Decemeber 2007: 5.8" BPEL x 4.9" MSEG

Current:-------->7.7" BPEL x 5.7" MSEG (7.2" NBPEL)

Current Goal:--->7.6" BPEL X 5.8" MSEG Do or do not, there is no "try".

kimc - yes you are supposed to cycle it. 2 months on is the rec I have read for 3g a day usage. I do not remember the off period, I usually take a month

man-of-10 - it is a great sport supplement. It does seem to help my EQ. For me the biggest sexual side is producing more pre-cum (I am not a big producer normally) and larger loads.

Twinlabs Male Fuel Ingredients:
Yohimbe Bark Extract 800mg
L-Argenine HCI 2800mg
Ginkgo Biloba Extract 60mg
Natural Vitamin E 400ui
Zinc 30mg
Vitamin B-6 50mg
L-Tyrosine 100mg
Choline Bitartrate 200mg
Vitamin B-5 100mg
Saw Palmetto 120mg
Phytosteral Complex 120mg

I have an idea of what some of these are others not so much.. But keep in mind recommended daily dosage is like 6 capsules and I usually take 2 at a time 3x daily. I pay $33 per bottle of 120. I actually had started a regular workout routine for overall health and muscular gains and wanted a good supplement. Being that this product is high in aminos I chose it.. It was not until after my purchase did I do more research and discovered the main ingredient L-arginine is also used for male sexual health. I was also made aware of the over mental and emotional changes since using this supplement.. Apparently I became a “happier” person to be around according to my children and now ex-wife.

Once again as far as overall effectiveness toward PE, I couldn’t honestly say I noticed, since I was not actively into PE at that time and have no measurements to base it on. But it was noticed by all of my partners ( wife and girlfriend at that time, and current Girlfriend).

Thanks Sta-kool. I think I will give it a go.

I can get 250g(83 days) for £16.89/$27 so it’s not breaking the bank.

Thanks for putting that list together. I am not too knowledgeable about this stuff, But off the top of my head, here are the ones I know about (other than the L-arginine)

zinc will help with testosterone production if you have a deficiency
Yohimbe Bark is taken as a libido enhancer
Ginkgo Biloba is said to help with blood circulation (when I take it I get more glans sensitivity)
Saw Palmetto is the main ingredient of those “Prostate Health” vitamin formulas.

Twin Labs does make a quality product.

Try to go with the AAKG, I think that is more effective than just plain L-Arginine. Sold in health food stores, sports supplements places.

Yeah That’s what I’m getting. Thanks.

Saiyan22 has a great explanation of the difference between how the body reacts to AAKG versus L-Arginine. I am going to try to find it and I will quote his post when I do.

OK; So here I put in my two cents worth of info on natural supplements for PE.. This is what I have been using to help my little guy a-long..

Aminos- I use a supplement containing most of the essential and non-essential amino acids to cover all the bases where these are concerned.
Essential means that your body does not produce these on it’s own and must be obtained through consumption.
Adding- L-Lysine, an essential necessary for building protein, helps in collagen formation and healing from injury.
- L-Arginine, Repairs tissue, increases vascular and muscular circulation, and assists in the release of growth hormone.
* All taken on an empty stomach at different times of the day.

Multivitamin- Very important to all systems in the body. A deficiency in any of these will counteract the balance of the whole.
I use Ultra Man by the Good ‘n Natural company. Seems to be a good cost effective source.

Iron- Anemia in men is becoming much more common as people are tending more towards natural foods and away from processing and fortification.
Be sure to have this checked by a doctor before supplementing though as it can easily lead to toxicity if too much enters the system.
Iron is very important for tissue oxygenation, energy, and growth.

Zinc- Important to the prostate, growth of the reproductive organs(!), healing, and protein production. Do not take it with iron.
Copper is needed in a 1-10 ratio for optimum utilization. More than 100 mg Zinc daily can be harmful.

Selenium- Works with vitamins E, C, and Zinc. An antioxidant that also aids in tissue elasticity. (A good thing?)
Also can be overdone. 200 micrograms should be a suitable dose.

Vit. C- Required for tissue growth and repair, as well as hundreds of metabolic functions.

Vit. E- Increases lubricity of the blood, helpful in avoiding clots (thrombophlebitis).

MSM- methylsulfonylmethane. Contributes sulfur, helpful in healing and tissue integrity.

Also the herbs,

Panax Ginseng- Increases energy and strengthens the entire system. Adaptogenic tonic.

Maca- Also increases energy, aids ED, another good tonic herb.

Chorella- High in protein, as well as the building blocks RNA and DNA.

Spirulina- Similar to chorella, just good all around.

Ginko Biloba- Increases peripheral circulation and tissue oxygenation. Noted clot-buster.

Garlic- Improves circulation, good for just about everything.

Saw Palmetto- Great for the prostate, which produces seminal fluid.

That’s my list. As far as dosages, you can do your research and see what works for you. The relative bible of hippie healers has for some time been the “Prescription for Nutritional Healing” by Phyllis Balch. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in alternative therapies and treatments of most ailments we might find ourselves stricken with. Has proved invaluable to me.. As has this forum, thanks to you all for advancing the cause!! Not only for us you see..

I don’t assume to know that any of these supplements actually help, my own gains have only been modest, so any input as to the possible counter-productivity of any of these items is certainly open for debate.

Much respect all. L8

Good post, will help many people i’m sure. Happy i take about 80% of the stuff on here

Start:7.5 BPEL X 5 MSEG

Goal: 7 MSEG

Heere We GOOooh!

Hello guys.. I’m interested in the L-Arginine and I am currently taking Nitrix.. It´s good, better and a little bigger erections., which is great.,

But now I I am interested in this:

Well it’s said to be more efficient uptake and it has antioxidants and PDE-5 inhibitors in it! Viagra is a PDE-5 inhibitor..

What do you think?
Anyone tried it?

Peace

I would like to say that a few years ago I didn’t know much about supplements ( Still don’t) but the now ex-wife and I started working out and I heard that aminos were great for workouts. So I walked through a nutrition center and saw the Male Fuel I mentioned in my previous post. I had all the positive side effects mentioned in that post including a stronger sex drive and harder erections. However, it wasn’t until last night just doing research in general that I found out that Male Fuel was/is sold as a “penis enlargement” or “sexual enhancement” supplement! Well, I did some thinking about this and yes my penis size has been a personal issue of mine since I was a teen and I do remember measuring myself as recently as 2004 and at that time I was barely 6” EL. At the time of finding Thunder’s I began jelquing and after 3 or 4 days I joined and after 2 more days I bought a ruler and tailor tape to add my measurements to the site. I measured the same as I always have and measured just at 6.43” just under 6.5. Thus saying I have gained nearly half an inch from the supplement itself? I will not swear to this 100% but I do recall both the wife and our girlfriend at the time making comments of improvement and I was doing no PE routine at this time.

Input?

The cocktail I use is 3 gr. L-arginine, 3 gr. AAkg, and 4 gr glutamine in about 3 oz. pure, unsweetened cranberry juice. I have tried other juices and have found them sickeningly sweet and discolored whereas pure cranberry is palatable. Both arginines should be cycled… six weeks on, two weeks off. (Have no idea how semen and cranberry would taste. Maybe try that during the two weeks off, lol)
