I’m pretty happy with the 500 mg Twinlab L Arginine. As Jerry said, 2000 mg’s is a perfect dosage per day. Two in the morning, two at night do the trick for me.

I played around with L-arginine for a while. I have come to believe that it is a good vasodialator, however it dont seem to work well all on its own for erections.

I tried the L-arginine l-ornithine mixture and felt it was a rip off. I used experiment with a few products to enhance PE. I was about 34 years old then. Recently now that I am 40 and getting symptoms of aging such as bad EQ and sometimes ED, I am going back to trying out things not just to enhance PE but for sexual health as well.

Lately I got the 500mg L-Arginine and took as described at 3 times a day…..Nothing! I got the 1000mg pills and began to take 3 a day (3000mg) after about a months my EQ seemed a little better but still not good, along with Some ED but not all the time. I decided to try something I used a long time ago that seemed to help my EQ and of course I did’nt have ED then at all. It is called Arginmax. I got mine at GNC for about $30 for a month supply.

Arginmax has L-Arginine, Korean Ginseng, American Ginseng, and Ginko Biloba. I have been taking it for about 2 weeks now and it seems to be working again. My EQ is much better but still needs improvement, and So far very little ED problems. It says to take for 30 days before improvements can be seen but when I was younger at 34 it took about a week. Now at 40 it took 2 weeks and Im only halfway through my first bottle.

So to my point, L-arginine works good for relaxing vessels for more blood flow but like me, maybe you need something to increase the libido as well. So far I am happy with the product Arginmax and do recommend it. Last time I was experimenting with supplements and didnt use them much beyond 30 days. This stuff I will take for 3 months and post my own results, but I do recommend it already.

Dont take L-Arginine all on its own for symptoms of ED. I will do ya great for workin out but for woodies you will need a little more. But still, I would say no matter what you do take make sure you still take L-Arginine for its ability to relax blood vessels.

I have ED (I’m 68 wiht diabetes) and agree with dawgbone3333. I use it to suppliment Viagra. I can get by with a lower dose of Viagra if I take my L-arginine EE. I have also had success with Maxidus ($25 per 10 pack when bought on sale or in quantity) in combination with Viagra. I usually take one Maxidus before bed time, a teaspone of L-aEE in a glass of green tea in the middle of the night and one Maxidus with 50 mgs of Viagra 30 minutes before sex. I can usually count on a 9 - 9.5 erection when I am ready. I can sometimes get a 7 - 8 errection with just Maxidus and L-aEE.

I took some L-Arginine last night and slept OK but woke up and I was sweating like a pig…I mean sweat dripping off of me. I was trying to figure out if profuse sweating was a side effect of taking Arginine and realized it was not the Arginine. I also just started to take lecithin and there appears to be allergic reactions in some from its use. There are some serious allergic reactions that can occur but the sweating usually occurs from excessive dosge (more than 25g per day). I only took a 1200mg tablet in the morning and a second near bedtime. I guess I won’t be taking lecithin anymore.

Arginine definitely gets more more pumped working out, not sure but I think it helps wood too.

Get AAKG (Arginine Alpha Ketogluterate). For straight arginine, alot will get wasted in your digestive tract. The AKG helps more get into your system.

It will cause outbreaks, i have experienced this. I haven’t tried lysine supplementation though which can probably counteract this effect.

Had a very good experience with L-Arginine-last night. I have ED due to 17 years of diabetes, so I usually need Viagra (sometimes 100 mg), a pump, and a constriction band to have a decent erection. I take 2000 mg of l-Arginine pills a day along with a number of some of the other usual supplements. Last night I woke up at 3 am and washed down a Maxidus pill with a glass of green tea laced with a heaping teaspoon (7 gr ?) of l-Arganine Ethyl Ester. I woke up at 7 am with a semi (I rarely get them now) and after 15 to 30 minutes of foreplay with my wife I had an 8+ EQ
erection which I was able to pleasure my wife with for 30 minutes. After the 30 minutes, I placed a constriction band around my unit and improved my EQ to 9, which I maintained for another 20 minutes.

This is the first time I was able to achieve a decent erection without Viagra and/or a constriction band in about 10 years.I will try it again in a few days and report back.

Just a note: standard unaltered L-Arginine is very limited in it’s bio-availability, most of it is broken down in your guts before it can do anything positive. The “optimal” dosage for simple L-Arginine is 12g - however for Ethyl Ester Arginine the optimal dosage is 1-2g. I hope this helps.

L-Citrulline sounds intriguing because it apparently bypasses the breakdown and elimination of the digestive system to get the l-arginine, and then NO, into the body. I would like to find out more about that process.

What about Tribulus

I use L-Arginine on a daily basis, 5000mg each, pre and post workout. It definitely gives you a “pump.” It helps the production of Nitric Oxide, a vaso-dilator, which, I believe, ultimately opens your blood vessels, allowing for more oxygen to travel along the vessels and provide nutriment to the muscles! This is why you see it in many fat burners and weightlifting products, along with caffeine, green tea extract, etc., for the same purpose.
When taking supplements, it is VERY important to cycle them, so that your body doesn’t become TOO accustomed to them, to the point that it will not produce it’s own source without the aid thereof. 2 months on should be good for most supplements, with a month off.
This thread is about using L-Arginine as a sex or EQ supplement: how about, drink a cup of coffee, take your arginine, and go do some cardio on an empty stomach to work off that fat pad which is keeping that extra half inch from poking out? :D
Do some research on Tribulus terrestrius. Natural steroid that increases the production of testosterone, in the testes. I DEFINITELY feel the extra effects from it. Like, when I lift, I get really into it. Damn I’m getting riled just thinking about it. Never used it though to beat off.
Again, YOU MUST CYCLE THE SUPP. 2months on, 1 month off.Do your own research though, just want to let you all know. And as a few previous posts have said, it’s a supplement, so it PROBABLY won’t have the same quick effects that people are saying Viagra and Cialis do, though I wouldn’t know about that, so I’m done now.

L-Arginine helps to give you really really hard erections. In my experience with it, it doesn’t nescessairly improve the feeling you have of your member, but it helps it get really hard when aroused. It doesn’t make it easier to get hard, it just makes it easier to be full hardness if that makes any sense.

I take a powdered form of L-arginine 5000 mg(5grams) in 8 ounces of water.

Seems to work dam good frankly.

I myself have been using L-Arginine for about a little over a month, and I think it has improved my erections immensely. I take about 2-4 grams daily. (Pill form) A friend called me over to her house last week, and I went right after popping in 2 grams of the L-arginine which totaled about 6g for the day. I had an erection for about 4 hours that night, (she didn’t want to fuck.) and another 2 hours that morning.
