L- Arginine new dick

Hey Guys,

This is my first post. Joined recently and have gathered a lot of good info. I started the newbie routine a few weeks ago. Too early to tell. I did start taking 50 mg of zinc and 1000 mg of l- arginine about a week ago.

Last night about an hour before my girlfriend and I went for it I took 1000 mg of l- arginine and took a shower and did some jelqs. I noticed my cock was hanging much fuller and more veiny. Usually it is quite small when flaccid. This time it was hanging and a bit of a chubby.

Then when I got erect it was very hard and throbbing and pumping. I found that I could last longer and she seemed very into it. It really seemed like a different dick. Then when I shot a load it was several very intense shots. I used to shoot one or two long shots then dribble the rest. This time it shot out about 6 times in about one foot long streams. I could tell she was into it when she gave an approving moan as my load covered her tits and neck.

Anyway, just thought I’d share my experiences. Very encouraging so far. I’ll keep on the newbie routine and keep taking the l’arginine. Oh yeah and I forgot to mention I have have increased my water intake to about 64 oz. A day. Not just for bigger loads but for other health benefits.

Any input would be appreciated as I am new to this.

From what I read in your post.. all I can say is, “Stay the course, mate”.

Welcome to Thunder’s Place and good luck with the gains.

"Life's not a bitch. Life is a beautiful woman."

The water probably had the most to do with it. That and the fact that you were excited about having a “super dick”. The zinc might have had a bit to do with it, but certainly less than the former two.

As far as l-arginine, you need several grams (unless taken on an empty stomach and allowed a few hours before eating) to have any noticeable effect and I will tell you why. The positive effects of l-arginine have more to do with the ratio of arginine:lysine in the diet. Since lysine is about 50% more prevalent in the diet, you must consume a substantial amount of arginine to improve this ratio.

The amount of l-arginine in the diet is about 4.7% of all protein that you consume, and this varies greatly from person to person. Lysine is about 7%. I typically consume about 10 grams of arginine in food form every day using these percentages, and about 15 grams of lysine in food form. I have noticed that 4grams of l-arginine taken once upon arising and again midday between two meals gives awesome “load” increases.

A personal favorite of mine for increasing load is lecithin softgels (3600mg). WATER is #1 though.

Dang! That is a lot of l- arginine. How long do you take that much before you see the affects? Do you take any before the actual deed?

Argnine

I used to work at GNC and I started to take NO2. After a few days I was walking around with wood almost everyday. I could go on about 3 times a day like in my teenage years. The bottle cost alot and it’s just alot cheaper to buy the regular old GNC brand and just take 3 to 4 grams a day 30 min before breakfast and lunch. This helps especially if you are jelqin.

What the amino acid does is widen your blood vessels to allow more blood and nutrients into your system.

I take about 6-8 grams of L-Arginine after a workout. This doesn’t even include the stuff I get from taking protein powder, which is about 150 grams (of protein).

I just started taking a high amount of L-Arginine for about a week and haven’t been able to see if my load has increased yet ;)

I mix this with CEE (Creatine Ethyl Ester) and it is the worse post-workout drink ever. LOL!

DO any of you guys ever notice any adverse effects from the L-Arginine?

I very occasionally take way less than what you’re mentioning and I will get gas, muscle aches, joint pain, other phantom aches and pains, sometimes sudden dizzyness, and anxiety. Heads aches too sometimes. I’ve tried it with and with out food. I do drinks lots of water anyways, but I also drink lots of coffee too.Caffeine interaction? I love the positive effects of L-arginine, pumped feeling, pumped dick, etc. I’d love to take it without having to worry if I’m fucking myself up.

The L-Arginine I bought also has L-Ornithine in it as well. According to the label it’s “to increase the absorption” of the L-Arginine.
Could this be the problem?

Also gold_member, could you give us a breakdown of what foods you’re eating that contain L-Arginine.
I do know of some, but I’m interested in hearing more.

Yes, your problem is that you need to start off with a relatively low amount of Arginine and work your way up….else you WILL get diahrrea, etc.
Start off with 500 mg twice a day. Wait a week before you increase.

Interesting.

I’ve been taking one 1000mg 2-3x each day for the past 8 days with no side effects. Actually, I haven’t noticed ANY difference, good or bad. The brand name I bought was “Nature’s Bounty” from Walgreen’s.

I haven’t noticed any bad sides, but I haven’t been paying attention for any. I will be on the lookout…

If you are susceptible to cold sores, do not supplement l-arginine.

To whoever asked what foods arginine is in, look at the food label of whatever you’re eating. If it has 1g or more listed for protein, then it contains arginine.

I don’t think the problem is with taken too large a dose. The capsules I have are 500 mg L-Arginine with 250 mg L-Ornithine combined.
I usually open up the capsule and take approximately 1/3 of the mixture with a class of water.]

The brand name of these are Solaray and I think I got them at a Vitamin Village store. I never heard of L-Orinthine before and this is what the bottle says: L-Arginine and L-Orinthine are closely related, non essential amino acids with similar structure and function. L-Arginine becomes part of protein in the body. L-Ornthine is used to make the protein.

Pretty fucking non-descript description if you ask me. That’s what I don’t like about a lot of supps. They make all these claims and assertions with little to no evidence. My mind conjures up all sorts of visual images as to the person who is actually making these claims. I have no desire to be a human guinea pig and find out later that I fucked myself up on a permanent basis.

I never got diarrhea from the stuff, but man have I laid some solid logs. Not to mention some wild smells too.

This is what I’m talking about too. Is this your opinion or do you have empirical evidence to support this?
Widening of the blood vessels is not always a good thing either. That would mean it’s having an effect on your heart too?
Ever heard of an aneurysm or stroke?

http://en.wikip … g/wiki/Aneurysm

"An aneurysm (or aneurism) is localized, blood-filled dilation (bulge) of a blood vessel caused by disease or weakening of the vessel wall.[1] Aneurysms most commonly occur in arteries at the base of the brain (the circle of Willis) and in the aorta (the main artery coming out of the heart) - this is an aortic aneurysm. This bulge in a blood vessel can burst and lead to death at any time, much like a bulge in an over-inflated innertube. The larger an aneurysm becomes, the more likely it is to burst."

I’m not looking to pick a fight, but I think it’s a dis-service when people come on here, or any other board for that matter, and make wild assertions or claims with little to no factual evidence, other than their own experiences, and don’t consider the ramifications.
Hell, some rats have the ability use decon as a food source, others it kills.

It’s well intentioned advice, but I’m sure we could all go start our forums about what well intentioned advice has done for the human existence, let alone our own lives.

Yes. There’s been several threads with discussions about L-argine causing herpes outbreaks and aggravating other skin disorders.
Which would also lead me to believe that since Herpes is basically a nerve disorder, L-Argine may possibly aggravate other nerve or nervous system disorders. Just a pet theory of mine.

I have only seen L-Arginine at 500 mg and it is advised to take just 1 a day.. Notice a lot of the “development oils” seem to contain this, must be good

It is well known that arginine is a precurser in the metabolic pathway in nitric oxide production, which is a vasodilator. You are correct when you say that it isn’t always a good thing to dilate blood vessels. If you are concerned, you should probably not take l-arginine.

The metabolic pathway for arginine production involves ornithine as a precursor. This is well-known. All non-essential amino acids have at least one amino acid precursor. Why it is included with some arginine supplements, I am not exactly sure but it may have to do with ornithine’s ability to help the body excrete nitrogen in the form of urea; arginine has nitrogen in its side chain.

Arginine just brings the cold sores which are actually a herpes strain, out lysine counters the outbreak part of this, a 50/50 of arginine and lysine should keep cold sores down. Hell lysine by itself may suppress regular cold sores.
