I’ve been taking the GNC 1000 mg tablets. 2 tablets 3 times a day. one mid morning. on in the afternoon and one before bed. Do you guys recommend any better types. Like powdered or anything.

Yea it was rediculous, and we both were like WTF?

From what I’ve gathered in this thread and other Arginine threads. Is firstly take on an empty stomach. Perhaps crush the tablets if thats what you have ( I have the 1000mg tabs ). Don’t eat for a good hour. Don’t take with coffee! I’ll start this new routine with 2000mg X 3 for a week and see if I see any sort of improvement. Will be adding Tongkat Ali soon to this when order arrives.

My shoot record was about 10-12 feet when I was doing allot of kegels and yes I took out the measuring tape. I think I’m bringing in at least 5-10g of l- arginine with protein shakes.

The bulk source of L-Arg I use is, which is actually an anti-aging site. Their bulk arginine base is US$32.50 per kilogram, or US$12 for 300 mg. Plus shipping. You can do the math as to how this compares to capsules, but when I did that years ago, the difference was striking.

But some are bothered by the taste. I just take it into my mouth dry, on a spoon, and immediately wash it down with water before it has a chance to dissolve. There really isn’t much taste that way.

Shooter, what was your period of abstinence when getting these results?

Damn I wish there was something equally as good for those of us who can’t take arginine.

Now I have just switched to a powder L-Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate — two teaspoons twice a day (6g) mixed up in juice or water:…lutarate-Powder

works well, less expensive than GNC pills or capsules


sta-kool, the stuff I’ve seen on AAKG talks about it as a muscle pump supplement. But I would be more interested in how it works for erections, loads, and blood pressure. Have you seen anything along those lines, either in writeups or your own experience? As compared to L-arginine base, I mean.

Haven’t seen any write ups. To me it seems comparable or little better than my L-Arginine results, but I was taking 10g of L-arginine and am only taking 6g of AAKG a day. Sorry I don’t have more info for you.

webslave, take the arginine before you go to sleep with water, but make sure you haven’t eaten much in awhile and your not going to have a midnight snack.

I recently started taking my Arginine at night, 3 nights ago, and there is a radical difference of effects.

You guys that can’t take Arginine might want to try “Ejaculoid”, I never tried it, and read mixed reviews, but some seem to really like it.

I couldn’t be bothered to waste money on a supplement just to shoot a bigger load.

Springer240- what is the radical difference in effects? better absorption? how much do you take and what kind?

I took one of the Arginine things a while back but didn’t notice anything- but now think I probably didn’t take enough… once I’m gainfully employed again I’ll be trying out various supplements.
