L-Arginine and body hair growth

Anyone who has been taking [large amounts of] L-Arginine
noticed an increased rate of body hairs growth?

You didn’t quantify “large amount” ;) , but I think my routine qualifies. I take 3 grams per day, and have not noticed anything unusual about hair growth. Of course, my hair and nails have always grown rather quickly, so it would be hard to notice that part. But, I don’t see any new hair on hairless parts of my body or thicker/longer hair on the hairier portions, either.

i also take 3 grams a day and have had no hair increase, I dont see how it would cause any even if it increases testorone.

I have worked up from 3 grams to 6 grams daily, over a period of 6 months, with no (unwanted) side effects other than occasional light headedness and increased flatulence. :)

I take between 5 and 10 grams daily and haven’t noticed any hair growth.

Where can I get L-arginine from??

I’ve been taking upwards of 15 G/dy for couple of years.
Always 5 G and ~hour before cybersex…may do that twice and always 5 G at bedtime for my nocturnal erections and piss hardons.

I keep a small, ziploc, covered container on kitchen counter and scoop out 5 G with scoop above vendor provides…dissolve well in small amt of apple juice.

Duh,

Forgot to mention…no I’ve not discerned any excessive hair growth….I’m haiy on arms/legs/chest and patterns on back…across shoulders. I’m on 10 G/dy AndroGel…but I was hairy before beginning TRT.

Read ‘The Arginine Solution’ today and ordered 2 kg L-Arginine HCL from KiloSports. Picked the book up at the local library and it was interesting, well written. Think I’ll start with 3g/d for a week, then 6g/d for a week, and topping out at 9g/d. It is a definite NO FOR ANYONE SUFFERING FROM HERPES AS IT EXACERBATES THE PROBLEM.

I too placed a bulk order for powder form of arginine and am taking two teaspoons twice daily. It is much cheaper than the capsules in bottles. Mixed with water it tastes kinda like baking soda with salt in it. But its for a good cause. Contributes nicely to strong hardons and quickly I might add. No side effects for me like Viagra can give. The flushed face like taking B vitamins. I’m not against Viagra though..it has a place too. I’m not sure arginine would help if you have a couple of drinks whereas Viagra for me is immune to drinking and partying.
