KUDZU for Alcohol reduction?

Does anyone know about the herb Kudzu? It helps heavy drinkers cut down the amount that they drink.

I have looked online at different information and there is a question I have for anyone who knows about this stuff. I study herbs as a hobby but this is a new one for me.

What I know about Kudzu:

It helps heavy drinkers feel satisfied with less drinks, so they don’t drink so much. It also makes people drunk faster so they don’t spend so much money and have to drink massive and dangerous amounts…

the problem is, you feel drunk when your liver can’t handle the amount of toxins from the alcohol right? So surely if Kudzu gets you drunk quicker - then it is just making your liver stress out quicker and harming you just as much, if not more??

I assume you never heard of the orthomolecular premise of alcoholism? It is semi related at best and involves evening primrose oil.

Did you ever know a heavy drinker to be satisfied with any amount of drinks less than “MORE” ?

The point being … what? So they can get to rehab faster or just jail after they kill someone on the way home?

I am not quite understanding your stance rootcap, I was merely asking about the relationship between liver damage and Kudzu/alcohol combinations.

I have cut my drinking down by about 90% and haven’t got drunk or felt like getting drunk since starting the supplements 3 or 4 days ago. Last night I had 2 cans of beer just because my partner did, but I didn’t want more - for the first time in ages.

I just wondered, if I have 4 cans for instance, while on this herb - will it do more damage to me…?

I was in no way supporting the promise of getting drunk fast while using them, that is not why I wanted them.
