This thread is starting to drift dangerously off course and we must save it before it is ship wrecked! Can we get back to talking about filling our gardens with horny goat weed and in Rouss’s case, probably lots of pot aswel? lol

Here is some useful information on how to grow horny goat weed (epimedium) and what environment it can survive and grow in.
Epimediums, How to grow Bishop’s Cap and Fairy Wings Plants - Garden Helper, Gardening Questions and Answers

It is capable of dealing with drought and deep shade, unlike most other plants. It will not thrive as well as it could in such conditions though. It prefers a moist, fertile, neutral/acidic soil and light but not heavy shade. It is a slow grower but once established, will form a dense ground cover.

Here’s a really big selection of epimedium in england. They aren’t on sale until september I think and they run out quickly.

Click on catalogue and then on the letter E. Then go to the second page. There are 3 pages full of different epimedium. The ones that are usually used in supplements are grandiflorum, brevicornu, pubescens, wushanense and sagittatum. They have all of them except sagittatum.

Here’s me waiting patiently, for things to sprout. I’ve tried everything from tomato food to seaweed.

I don’t recommend deep heat. It burns!!! OUCH!!
