Tried the raw celery thing but I couldn’t make it work. It did work in the sense that my loads were slightly larger and there has been a change in color to being more white/milky. I even noticed a return of a bit of distance as I’m “roping” more now. It’s nice to have a large, thick load AND be able to really spread the wealth. My gf has noticed the increase and she loves it.
But I just couldn’t do it any more with eating so many stalks a day. I just can’t get use to the taste - no matter the recipes used. So, I switched to the celery extract supplements and so far so good. I haven’t noticed any appreciable drop. I’ll still eat a few small sticks here and there but by and large, I’ll stay with the pill. I had to laugh at myself since the whole point was to ditch the pills, or just not take as many. I’ll try to go “natural” again but for now, the celery pills are working fine.
I juice the celery (along with apples and other veggies). Makes it much more palatable :-)
I do notice the effect.
