How much does food effect Viagra?

If say you knew you was 1 - 1 1/2 hours or so away from playing hide the sausage and in that time in between you’d be eating a full meal.

Can you take it before the meal and have the same effect as normal?
Can you take it before the meal and it’ll have a diminished effect or take a bit longer to kick in?
Where you’d normally take a half pill 50mg take 3/4 for the same effect?
Something else…

Unfortunately Viagra does seem to have a lessening effect with intake of food. I think in the 3hr. range. Cialis on the other hand doesn’t yield to such an extent as Viagra does.

Nor does Levitra. But all these drugs’ action is inhibited by food intake; for some men, even by a little snack.

For best results, take them on an empty stomach - no food for 3 hrs before. Once the drugs have been absorbed, you can eat if you want, just cut down on fat intake, especially. Also, who wants sex right after a heavy meal, anyway? :)

Never tried Cialis, has a less potent longer effect doesn’t it and never heard of Levitra.
It won’t be a massive meal but I just heard food can mess things up and I have a very fast metabolism.

Like most things it effects people in different ways, guess I’ll just have to try it and see :)

A big fatty meal kills the effects of Viagra, I really just don’t even want sex after eating like a pig at least not for a couple of hours.

If I think I am in for a good fucking I will skip the meal or go for something really small to hold me over. If I was like Dino and got a fresh piece of strange every day than maybe I would stuff myself too. They ladies will wait for him, whereas I have to get them drunk.

In, general, food in the stomach slows the absorption of a drug. If you are planning a strategy, I would say take the V 30 to 60 minutes before eating so that it gets in your system faster.

I’d like to hear people’s comments about alcohol’s effect as well. For me, I take Cialis and I don’t notice much effect from food or alcohol. However, since it stays effective for a couple of days, timing is not so important.

Shit if you weren’t a married man you would be scraping them off. I’m laying low as far as dating goes women are a lot of work and I need a break. I’m just concentrating on work and working out regular and doing some work on the house. Right now I need my time to be all my own. I don’t have time for the needy and demanding

I also try to eat light or not at all before sex, I really enjoy eating big after sex. Me and my former girlfriend would get the grill going after and crack open a cold one, one time I made a rack of ribs and I remember saying it don’t get much better than this.

Alcohol in moderation doesn’t seem to bother the effect of Viagra on me.
