IMO, avoiding other common sources of w-6 instead of paying extra for higher w-3 beef, eggs and whatever else they are working on makes more sense. For example, use olive oil instead of vegetable oils. How much of the w-6 in our diets comes from meat?

Next time you’re at the store check the price on those higher w-3 eggs. Expensive. Some flax seed or a (cheap) fish oil capsule gives more bang for the buck. The flax also provides some fiber, which is another thing commonly lacking in American diets.

I agree with this. Before this thread, I hadn’t given much attention to omega-6 in my diet, but now I think I’ll try to use more olive & canola oils in place of the more poly oils.
