Energy Drinks

Hi,

I’ve been using some of the latest energy drinks out there to give me a needed energy boost as well as helping me feel better overall. Usually either Monster Energy: http://www.monsterenergy.com/

One of the better ones I’ve tried is Go Fast which has zero preservatives: http://www.gofastsports.com/

The other night I purchased from a grocery store a Wired5000 which definitely got me a little "wired". Perhaps too much.

Anyway, I noticed on their website they also have a version they call "WiredXXX" which says on the top of the can that it is the "Ultimate Sex Drink" and that it will "… enhance your sexual prowess…".

In addition to the regular ingredients it includes:

L- ARGININE
HORNY GOAT WEED (EPIMEDIUM)
MACA ROOT
TRIBULUS TERRESTRIS

These of course are all supplements described in detail here on this forum. I found it interesting since I know there has been occasionally questions about whether those drinks help out, but I’ve not before seen one advertised with that in mind. I don’t recall if the grocery store has this version for sale or not.

Condoms and such are now sold openly, but might parents be concerned about such a product that might be confused with a normal health drink? Most energy drinks say on the can that they are not intended for children. I would think this version might best be sold only where adults can purchase it.

Since I didn’t purchase a can and don’t recall whether they had it or not I can’t report back on its effectiveness. Might be okay if you don’t want to bother with additional supplements.

Energy drinks are bad for you, in the long run. There are better ways to get that extra energy.

Man.. I’m glad I found another one that likes energy drinks. I have a collection of energy drinks (53 different energy drinks).

I haven’t tried neither Go Fast nor Wired but I would like to. The thing is that I don’t want to order a case of energy drinks just to try them.

Red Bull rules. Moderation of course is necessary.

Why is this? When I drink Yeager bombs I kill lots of red bulls. And yes it does keep me up for along time lol.

I like the one called NOS but I’m off all energy drinks for now they pick you up real high than drop you down hard. The one by Coke sucks monkey balls it’s nothing but caffeine.

I like Monster. I only drink sugar free ones though.

I don’t know how accurate this is, but I heard once that they cause shrinkage.

Again, I don’t have anything to back this up. Just something I heard once upon a time.

Yeah, for monster I also prefer the Lo-Carb version with the blue lettering on the black can.

I try not to make a habit of this. But I have been fighting some issues with being exposed to some harmful environmental things like black mold. Working with doctors on that, but it occasionally causes me feel very lethargic. The energy drinks if taken in moderation help get me going okay. Some complicated issues.

Anyway, they do a lot more for me than just drinking water which I already do in large amounts, and they are much better for you than a soda. I recall the Jolt Cola which is back but I thought it had once been banned by the FDA for having too much caffeine in it. http://en.wikip … /wiki/Jolt_Cola

Just the thing for staying up all night cramming for finals. Not very good for you. I see they have a picture of the "battery bottle" resealable can. I’ve seen that used now often for other brands.
