Creatine and Arginine

Can anyone give me some good Creatine supplements that include Arginine? I’ve never used creatine, just light arginine, and am looking for a new supplement for working out. Does all creatine contain arginine? Anyone tried the No Xplode stuff? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.


Creatine is just creatine monohydrate(or whatever form you are using). I would recommend using Citrulline Malate as apose to L-arginine, it does the exact same job, but much better. It’s probably best to use Creatine Monohyrdate, or possibly Creatine Malate.

I’ve been lifting for a few years now.. I’ve tried tons of stuff.. Honestly the best advice to give you is eat.. Eat eat eat.. If your trying to grow, more important than anything.. Took me a while to believe ppl.. But other than that, I’ve tried no explode.. It made me sick.. Especially since you have to take it on an empty stomach.. Lol but the best thing I’ve tried was no shotgun.. Right now I just take creapure creatine monohydrate.. And thats it

I use no xplode and love it. You want to start out with just a half serving to see how your stomach reacts. There is a ton of caffeine in it. I have heard 200-300 mg’s but they don’t publish the exact amount. It has both arginine and citrulline in it. The caffeine amount probably isn’t great for PE but I have had great gains in my first month and half PE’ing (about 1” BPEL and 1/2” MSEG gains) and I drink a ton of caffeine. The combination of caffeine and B vitamins charge me up and I can’t wait to get in the gym and start lifting after I take no xplode. You usually want to take it about 30 minutes prior to the workout and drink lots of water.

Thanks for the posts. Yea, I plan to add a small amount to my workout, I just feel I need something more. My diet is pretty good as of right now.

So what are the sideeffects? I heard that it reduces water weight? Or increases water weight, so you sweat a lot more, making it look like you had a harder workout. Also, I heard side effects of facial acne and back acne (bacne). My roommate was using the stuff and he definitely had a lot of acne and facial hair while on. What does it do as far as L-ARG goes? Any of you guys getting some good hang while on the stuff, like L-ARG gives you?


I can’t speak to the L-ARG effects but I haven’t had any side effects. I only take no xplode 2-3 times a week (only when I lift). I usually use 1-2 scoops and drink about 16 ounces of water during the workout. I get a good pump during and after the workout.

Hands down I think Cold Fusion is fantastic. It has three types of creatine and l arginine.
