I’ve wondered that myself, lol. Just the nature of the beast, I guess. :D
OK, so what can we conclude so far?
Little or no vitamin C on PE days, right? Can we agree on that?
(Don’t feel like it’s an ‘engraved in stone’ type of thing, if you voice a opinion here. This is just an expression of what is probably the smartest thing to do right now, in PE. Tomorrow that may change. That’s all this thread is: an expression of what we know now. If some new information comes to light, it can be posted here. It’s assumed to be a changing and growing thing… it’s not “set in stone.”)
How about rest days? Vitamin C, or no? What do you guys think?
What is the distinction between ‘rest days’ and ‘cementing?’ Just the length of the break period? Is stretching (like ADS) a good practice during cementing?
Would it be safe to say that keeping vitamin C low during short breaks (1 or 2 days) would be a good idea?
Would it also be safe to assume that during cementing, vitamin C IS a good idea?

I would say not to supplement Vit C. Not to suggest that Vit C is a bad thing, but that if you are supplementing then consideration is needed as to how you change the balance of things. If Vit C were increased, then perhaps an equivalent increase in other variables need to be factored (DHT/IGF etc) and we haven’t even established all the players in the process yet. If you can increase all the variables in the optimum proportion then you could effectively compress response time and get better results in a similar time frame.
Okay. What else could be looked at? Maybe MSM?

Would someone who knows please weigh in on the difference between regular old C and ester C, while we’re at it?
I don’t know about ‘C’ (assuming Vit-C).
I would add to that list GLA though as a harmless and possibly productive supplement. There are a couple of others on my list of prospectives, but mostly prescription so I’ll leave those out for now until there’s some substantial evidence.
I would imagine that one should approach PE similar to body building, and a diet with additional protein would be beneficial.
Was searching about vitamin C lately…so what do you guys still think ? Is vitamin C detrimental or not? Is improving collagen status a good or a bad thing ? Should we look at PE as a micro-tear,repair things ? Or PE is more efficiently made by remodelling the penis in a fashion like how ligaments/tendons are done ,meaning keeping the penis at certain length and over time it will remodel ?

I have read on multiple occasions that people that drink a lot of cranberry juice have gotten great gains
Have any of you from the original thread conversation experimented more with vitamin c? I started taking 3000mg of Ascorbic Acid powder ( Vit C ) a day about 4 weeks ago, so I am kinda curious about the idea. The main reason I started taking vitamin c was for the fact that I read, read, and read how it helps with tissue repair, so I thought it would help my dick repair faster. Also, I usually get a bad chest cold every year and this year I haven’t gotten one yet, so that’s a plus if its the help of vitamin c.

Take a good 5000iu of Vitamin D to avoid those chest infections Flashpoint, with you biggest meal (vitamin D3). Look it up.
I would tend to go with the low vitamin D for around 2-3 weeks during an intense PE bout. When someone with Bibs gains throws out a theory we should go with it, when in doubt.
