When items clear customs, they get declared. That’s how they know. I think there have been other threads about customs clamping down on overseas drug shipments. Maybe you can search or someone remembers better than me.

It’s legal in India until sometime in 2005 than India is suppose to be part of something or other that will reconise US and others patents, so after that I don’t know whats going to happen. Maybe they will have to invent something on there own.
