Don’t worry…All things can be fixed

Man. I wish I’d asked for tests after I hurt myself, but my urologist was basically like, “Yeah, just wait and see, nothing we can do in terms of testing anyway.” Ugh.

Anyway, any news?

I didn’t manage to get there after all, life happened and something else came up.

It’s now happening on Thursday which was the earliest time I could reschedule. The appointment will just be for the procedure, and then I will need a follow up to have the results explained to me, so it may be a while until I know what is happening with me. The procedure sounds a bit scary from what I’ve read on the net, apparently they use some kind of traction device to stretch the penis and then clamp down electrodes!! Worried the stretching will make things worse.

In terms of my progress, it’s hard to judge. I was feeling a little more optimistic yesterday as it seemed like I had regained some more sensitivity in my penis shaft and testicles, my genitals felt a bit heavier (not as light?), but then today happened and I feel the same as I did a couple days ago.. I’m even beginning to question if the improvement I had experienced yesterday was just in my head and I simply imagined it. I did have morning wood today though, it was not very strong but it’s the first time since the Viagra experiment that I’ve had that kind of activity down there again. Maybe thats part of the reason why my sensitivity dropped again? Caused more tension?

Are you still thinking your problem is a pinched nerve, aka something going on farther up the pudendal nerve, closer to the spine, rather than something in/around the penis itself?

If that’s the case, I’m not sure that’s my problem. Two months ago, I accidentally yanked off a REALLY tight cock ring in the middle of an erection, basically steamrolling my penis. (I’ll give you a few seconds to stop screaming.) Essentially, the ultimate jelq, completely unintentional. ;) It’s possible something happened to my nerve farther up away from the penis, but I’m operating on the assumption that I’ve caused trauma to various component parts of the penis itself (nerves, arteries, veins, the soft muscles in the corpora). I’m still able to get erections with some time and effort, but they’re not as hard as before, and they’re very difficult to maintain. I also have some loss of sensation, and my urethra kinda burns, and the glans kinda burns and tingles on and off.

I went to a doc, who basically said, shrug, not going to test it, just wait it out. I’m still researching ways to try to fix it myself, and still waiting it out. If it doesn’t get better in a few months, I’m going to ask my doc firmly for some kind of imaging or testing so I know what the hell is wrong. I haven’t made a topic about it yet, but I might if it doesn’t improve in a while, haha.

To be honest with you, I still don’t really know. I’m hoping my test this week will shed some light. I know that I have had overly tight pelvic muscles the relaxation exercises have helped some of my problems like weak urine stream, hard flaccid etc, but I’m not yet convinced that this is the source of my sensitivity issues. It may have just been an unrelated condition, and the real problem is still some kind of nerve damage. The reason I believe the problem to be higher up is because both my testicles and penis seem to have been affected, not just the penis.

Really sorry to hear about your accident, sounds like it would have HURT a lot. That’s one thing I’ve been spared in all this, I haven’t experienced any pain at any point. Only the numbness and loss so sensation. Perhaps the numbness is masking the pain, and I have this to look forward to if it ever disappears, I don’t know.

Also, in the many hours I have spent reading other people’s penis problems (sad but true), I have heard that burning sensation and tingling is a good sign that the body is healing, and is usually followed by positive outcomes. I get the tingling but not the burning, unfortunately the tingling can also be a bad sign, which it probably is in my case.

Yeah they will test your response to the stretching. Im pretty sure you will tense up.

I trained myself to be totally relaxed when I stretch my dick. Before I would immediately tense up in the muscles. Achieved through reverse kegels.

Was it an urologist? Most of them suck so much its really unbelievable that he didnt gave you anything antinflammatory right away.
Research natural Anti inflammatories taken orally.
If you are responsibly you can research DMSO to do something transdermal(also anti inflammatory). But thats only for people who know what they do(really).

Didn’t mean to hijack your thread with my own problems, but since stuff came up:

It actually didn’t hurt that much when it happened. A sharp stinging, over in a flash, but it wasn’t very intense. The burning that came after is very mild, and only felt when peeing and masturbating, and for a while after masturbating. The thing is, the burning has been there for two months now. The sensation hasn’t changed at all, and I don’t think my condition has either (better or worse)..

Yeah, it was a urologist. If my penis is inflamed, it’s not visible outwardly. Nothing visible or super painful in the days following the accident. But pretty much right away, it was much more limp when flaccid. Should I be worrying about inflammation anyway?

Yes. Tingling, burning and small sharp sudden pains are all good.

So I was all set to go to my appointment, but chickened out at the last second.

Literally just as I was walking out the door to my house, I realised I couldn’t face the humiliation.

So now I’m at home feeling kind of worthless and disappointed in myself. Sigh.

Nothing humiliating about it. A little bit of awkwardness now is worth saving your penis. Don’t put it off too long. Don’t make the mistake I did.

Come on mate get your act together, if your problem is really that bad a bit of embarrassment wouldn’t stop you.

Please stop whining. Better yet please go away. You are obviously not interested in making things better and you don’t deserve anymore sympathy. There is no help for you here because you are not willing to help yourself. This entire thread is a waste of everyones time.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.
