thumb/wrist injury from jelqing

Hello guys. I made this post specifically because of an injury I am having. My penis is just fine; in fact it can take quite a beating (see: lenny face), but it’s quite frustrating how my hands are unable to keep up.

To be specific, I might have injured my right thumb, experiencing a sort of discomfort at the base of my thumb that started more than 10 days ago, and after a week or so the pain has radiated to my wrist. I started experiencing this after some few jelqing sessions across a few days.

Right now I have regularly observed that every morning my right wrist would be stiff and painful upon waking up, and to alleviate the pain I would crack my wrist by pulling my thumb downwards as close to parallel to my arm as possible. Some of the pain may go away, but the range of motion I can take without experiencing pain is quite limited. Also, before I crack my wrist, if I try to yaw(see: 6 degrees of motion) my hand left and right from my wrist, I would notice a small unnatural snapping movement on my thumb.

This is getting troublesome and is affecting not only my PE but also my daily activities. Simple household work is starting to be limiting and I worry it might get worse. I was wondering if anyone else in the forums are experiencing the same problem as well.

P.s. seeing a doctor might be an absolute last resort. I’m poor as a rat. Hoping to get valuable insights.

Stop doing things with that hand,like jelqing, and allow it to heal. Some warm compresses may speed up the healing a bit but when you’re injured, no mater where, the best thing to do is rest.
