Thrombosed Veins

Hey all, I think I have a major thrombosed vein but im not sure, I need to put my mind at rest!

I have always thought that a clotted vein causes death, am I right or wrong?

Do they always heal?

I am not too sure which vein is giving me the trouble but I am pretty sure it’s the main vein running from the base to the glans, at the end of this vein it seperates and goes round either side of my penis, which veins are these? I think these are the problem. Thank you for your time.

You’re thinking of DVT and airlines here, I guess. Where little bits of the thrombosis break off and are pushed around the blood stream until they get lodged in a smaller channel like a capillary in the brain.

Though these are the same things the veins on the penis are quite small. I guess there may still be a tiny possibility of this problem but you’ll have to wait for one of the guys with decent medical knowledge to answer that.

You mean from the glans (area) to the base (area), I assume.

My thrombosis starts at the base, who knows how far back into the pubic area it goes?
It is hard and lumpy and runs for 2/3 the length of the shaft and branches off in 3 places.

I keep finding more veins that are affected even though I have not done any PE now for 18 days. It is driving me nuts!
I just hope it heals eventually but it will be a matter of months for me at least.

Are you sure its a thrombosis? What exactly are you seeing? How hard? That seems awfully extensive for a thrombosis.

How are you dealing with it? Massage? Heat?

I think if I had something that bad I’d be booking a doctors appointment.

No I am not sure it’s a Thrombosis but from the descriptions I have read on this site I think it is.

What I am seeing in the flaccid state is a ridge under the skin on the first inch and 3/4 of my penis. The skin is slightly lighter, it’s as if there is a match stick under the skin making the ridge.

Nothing else is visible in the flaccid state until I pull the foreskin back, then I can see 1 blood vessel that is different to all the rest near the head. The other vessels are red or blue, this one is skin colour and hard to the touch.

When erect the vein starting at the base is much more prominent and thicker, I guess maybe 1/8 of an inch. It has 4 lumps or larger areas on it. Then the vein gets thinner as it carries on up to near the head. There are no lumps on this bit but it is still hard. It also branches off in 3 places with small hard stringy vessels. It’s like pressing on a bit of wire.

I think I made it worse because I carried on PE’ing for about 2 weeks as I did not know what it was. I was feeling what I thought was ligament fatigue around my pubic area from hanging. This fatigue, or mild pain went after I had stopped PE for 3 days. Now there is no pain but it would be uncomfortable to pull my foreskin especially when erect.

Now I am taking 75mg Asprin 2 times a day.
Ibuprofen 200m mg 2 x a day.
Hirudoid cream 4 x a day.
Arnica 3 x a day
No sex or PE although I seem to be waking every day with an erection but I can’t help that.

I have a rigid half ring under my glans on the top. It starts on the left side and ends about in the center under the head. It is tender to the touch. Thrombosis? :(

you know, there is a lot written avbout t.veins, but, i have yett to veiw a picture of one. i would be great if someone could post a few pics. of t.veins to clarify this confusion. i have what maybe a t.vein, and i have backed off of p.e. some. a pic or two could help ease my mind and answer many questions. thanks

Ok, so I exhausted my penis from a month of vigorous jelqing and then tried clamping 3-4 times and what I noticed is that the veins that go from the base of the penis along the side (not sure what they’re called but I believe that they’re the main ones), mainly the one on the right side, are still visible in the flacid state and slightly sensitive/uncomfortable to the touch, however, they look and feel just like the veins you get on the top of your hands sometimes (though not quite that visible) and feel approximately the same as well. I feel no hard lumps or bumps anywhere on these veins and I can’t remember if I’m just a veiny kind of guy and this is normal for me or not. Is this a thrombosed vein as well, or what? Thanks.

What are the drawbacks to having these if there is no pain or comlications?

I apparently have a thrombosed vien on the right side of the penis where the shaft meets the balls. I didn’ t feel anything last time I did PE which was on sunday, but today while masturbating I noticed it. I think this was a result of me experimenting with erect jelqs for about a minute and squeezing too hard. It’s about an inch on the vien that is thrombosed. I only kinda of noticed it at first, but once I did, it really got me a bit nervous.

And reading about the post about blood clots causing death, I am a little worried. I don’t any uncessary clots floating around in my body and accumulating in my head or by my heart you know.

The hardest I have ever jelqed was last session, now I know I went to far. Hopefully this will go away within a week or two.

Which post?

Blood clots in superficial veins, like we see in our dicks, aren’t a big deal. Don’t confuse them with deep vein thrombosis, which is serious and can be life threatening.

Are you guys referring to something different than a “lymphocele” which is what I think I currently have…”lymphocele: This is a harmless, cord-like swelling due to blockage of the lymphatic channels in the penis. Sometimes it follows prolonged or especially energetic intercourse or masturbation. But it usually goes away in a few days, also, a lymphocele is usually cross-wise at the end of the penis, near the base of the foreskin.”

I started jelqing a few months ago, started to see some gains but developed the hard, cord like things under the skin on the left side below the head…what I read about the lymphocele on the net says it should go away with time but mine dosent seem to be (2 weeks)…Any other opinions on how I can speed the healing and begin to start PE again? I plan to start back slowly after it heals and reduce the frequency of jelqing…

Maybe what I have is a lymphocele, maybe not? I have a vein?, that has a hard pencil lead feeling spot (3/8in.long) and then four or five tiny beads that work it’s way from my base to about 3/4s of the length. It is not very noticeable. I can feel it more than I can see it and my wife also has trouble noticing it. It fits the guitar string I.d., but it would be thinner than the smallest string. No pain, but a few weeks ago I did have a localized soreness at the base in the general vicinity. I am sure that this vein?, or whatever, started there. I am trying the variously mentioned methods of treatment, and at times believe they are working, but I’m not sure this pencil lead thing will ever go away. What gives?

Grizmor - I have exactly the same thing you have and exactly in the same place. I only noticed it yesterday and it kind of scared the cr*p out of me! It’s on the underside of my penis just where the penis meets the scrotum and it’s kind of crossways from the side inwards and vanishes down into my scrotum. It’s like a thick elastic feeling thing and I hope it goes away as quickly as possible! It feels more like a flatish rubber band than anything else and it wasn’t there a couple of days ago.
