Thombosed Vein vs Clogged Lymph Vessels

I’d like to give my two cents if I may.

I, like many, have had quite a bit of trouble with lymph (for sake of simplification) right below the glans of my penis on the left had side. It would normally appear after an intense pumping session or a very intense session of masturbation. In order for me to clear what appeared to be a “string of pearls” (as many have described it) I would heat up a sock with rice and work it out exactly as it has been described. However, 4 months ago something much different happened to me. Instead of having the normal/lumpy/pearly feeling it was exactly the same, I could feel the lymph vessels exactly the same as I always had been able to, but with no lumps, all while being inflamed. In addition to being greatly inflamed, it also was sore as if it were bruised.

After one month of it not going away, I decided to go to a urologist (I have good insurance.. So its free) and he told me it was a growth that immediately had to be removed otherwise it would continue to cause me pain. Not really believing what he said, I went to another urologist. This one told me that my veins were inflamed (which seemed weird to me since it was the same exact vessel that had always bothered me when I would get the lump/pearl blockage) but I took his word for it. He prescribed me a steroid cream (that is commonly used for bruises and varicose vein problems here) and told me in 3 weeks it would all be better.

Fast forward three weeks, no change. I go back and he says that it just takes time and that I should refrain from any sort of physical activity and avoid erections at all cost. Again, believing what he thought, I follow his advice. No changes.

I go to two more urologists during this time. One gave me the same advice as the previous, however the last one was convinced that it was not a vein, that it was a part of my lymphatics and then recommended that I do intense exercise and rebounding to get my lymph moving. From this moment it had now been about 3 months with a swollen penis, I was so desperate to have anything fix it because it was causing a lot of psychological stress in addition to the small amount of physical pain that I had. I took a piece of bandage and tightly wrapped it around the part of my penis where the swollen vessel was and, following the advice of another poster (I apologise for not knowing his name) pumped my penis with the bandage. After about 20 minutes of intense pumping I left the tightly wrapped bandage around my penis for the night and the next morning was the first time I saw any change. I continued this for about three days until it had almost disappeared.

To this day I haven’t been able to get rid of the vessel like I used to, I can still kind of tell that it is there when it is flaccid and I can definitely tell it is there when it is hard, but it no longer causes me pain.

I personally think that I didn’t have a blockage like many have mentioned, but that my lymph vessel became aggravated and inflamed which is why no amount of “stripping” did any good.

Thanks for that input kevinrobinson56. Much appreciated.

Sounds in line with my experience.
From some recent reading it seems if a lymph vessel is inflammed long enough it can develop scar tissue or thickening which can make it more prominent even if it continues to work ok.

Can you post the name of the steroid cream ?
I’ve been trying some dynamic pumping recently and I think that’s actually helped to clear mine a bit.

He prescribed me two different ones. Thrombocid forte and cuatroderm.

But as I said earlier, it didn’t really do any good. The only thing that has seemed to help has been that “wrapped pumping” as I described in addition to just constantly having the inflamed area wrapped tightly with a cloth bandage.

Thanks
Compression does seem to be a fairly common treatment for lymphedema but a few guys have found it also causes it ! Go figure.

Thought I’d update my progress with my locked lymph vessel.

It’s been about 6 months since I noticed it and it’s finally gone.

It was a bad one as well, really solid lumps.

In the end the best thing seemed to be leaving it alone, no PE that aggrevates it so no pumping or clamping and no massage.

It may take a while but they do heal.

If you have a clogged lymph vessel, will there also be an achey pressure type sensation where there is fluid built up? I ask because I’m looking at the possibility this may be what is causing my firm flaccid/tense while jelqing problem. I inspected the underside of my penis today while attempting to jelq, and noticed what looked like a white vein near my base that was notchy and firm when I pressed on it. Similar to an overcooked noodle of sorts and caused the same localized ache I’ve felt before but brushed off as my penis growing.

Doubt it can cause firm flaccid but a blocked vessel can ache slightly.

Thanks for the response. I may just be paranoid and am getting normal vein growth, but I’ve attached a pic and am curious if this looks normal. I have two veins that stick out no matter how flaccid I am. I’ve been noticing some steady growth and harder erections so maybe it’s a positive indicator, but am concerned about a vague dull pain that comes and goes.

Looks like normal veins rather than lymph vessels.

I had really big hard lymph vessel on right side just under the glans and I had this for about 2 weeks without doing any exercises but nothing happened, it was still there. One day I tried massage it and the lump was shrinks down, soften and magically disappear. Just try massage it in all directions, circular motion and in different pressure - try and find what works for you and vessel will completely disappear.

I might have missed this already but has anyone posted a comparison picture of the two issues discussed? Or simply put has anyone found any pictures online or a link with an accurate picture of the two. I feel like I’ve got the clogged lymph vessels 1/2 inch below the glands which post pumping sometimes looks like a cockring under the skin or as some people have called it the worm.

A thombosed vein vs Clogged lymph vessels picture comparison specifically of the penis would likely eliminate the concern and confusion for some.

Cheers

The comment on developing scar tissue or thickening is a similar problem I’m experiencing. When an athlete or which seems quite common in body builders is the frequent talk of trying to eliminate scar tissue on their bodies through sports massage, physio etc. Can we deal with scar tissue of the penis in a similar manner? It seems we need to go further. Let me know how the steroid cream goes.

I had a week off with gentle massage. Nothing changed.

I tried to trace the lymph but kept loosing them. The anatomical picture shows they run along the top.

Yesterday I got the length of pearls bent over itself and applied reasonable pressure and it shrunk down.

I started some stretching and v stretch by pushing on the top lig and more bumps.

Research suggests they go over time with little side effects. Until then? Ribbed for her pleasure!!! ;-)

Is it possible to remove a lymph vessel that has developed scar tissue or thickening? This would be a dream if possible but I’m grasping at straws realistically I’m guessing not but thought I would ask.

How a surgeon would remove such a problem would be interesting.
